Reviews of Pupa Winery Serene Stay

Staff and location are wonderful, the place has a great atmosphere and certainly a special vibe. We arrived and were served a very special wine tasting meal on the large terrace between two long tables of local celebrations. A wonderful, special and very tasty eventing - and they told us it was all included in the room price. What a nice surprise.

Everything, great rooms, wonderful wine tour, great food and of course wine

We had an amazing stay! The Pupa family and staff (Adi, Andi, Sam, Bora, Ester) were such wonderful hosts, making us feel like part of their family. The ambience was beautiful, the service top-notch, and the wine was excellent (our favorite was Puls). Breakfast in the morning was delicious! Great people, great company. A true 10/10 experience - highly recommend! We’re happy that we chose to start our Albanian trip at this winery.

Everything was perfect! A nice location with incredible view. The owner is an excellent wine maker and the winery has to offer some of most iconic wines from Albania.

Large and comfortable room in a lovely location. The tour of the vineyard and wine tasting are included - we thoroughly enjoyed both. If you choose to eat in the restaurant you won’t be disappointed. Free parking and a generous breakfast. Recommend - just 20 mins from Berat on the way to Osumi Canyon.

Everything looked very clean and nice and even the winery tour and tasting were included in the accommodation price. The staff made us feel like home and the approach felt very personalized. We went to both Nurellari winery tour and Pupa, and in the end we are glad we decided to spend the night in Pupa.

Exceptional owners and staff, property was beautiful, the vineyard tour also beautiful. The wine delicious, and the BEST food…highly recommend this stop, even worth a drive out of the way! The room was comfortable and exactly what we needed!

Beautiful property and the included wine tasting and visit to the vineyard was excellent

EVERYTHING! There was literally nothing to not like. The property itself is absolutely stunning and cleaned immaculately. The rooms were big and spacious with a great shower. We had a balcony with lovely views too. We went on an incredible winery tour with Devi and his dad Eni. Devi spoke fantastic English, translating for his dad on the tour. Their families winery is beautiful and we learnt so much. I can’t believe how cheap the stay was and how well everything was organised. The wine tasting and the appetisers with it were a great touch. The breakfast was unreal and we just loved the whole stay! Parking was easy and not too far from Berat so we were able to go back to the old town in the evening which was lovely.

Outstanding value for money. We have an evening meal with there wine. Quality food and wine probably the best we had on our 15 night travels.

There is a vinyard tour that was great. followed up with a tour of the winery and wine tasting with antipasta. All brilliant except the small coach that takes you to the vineyard payed loads dance music on the 10 minute journey.... Strange knowing the group you have on board

Modern, comfortable, world class winery with accommodations an easy drive outside of Berat. Very kinda host and staff, great winery tour, good restaurant. Amazing value. Probably the nicest accommodation in the region; we almost stayed at Alpeta instead but glad we choose this one, as we visited the other and it seemed nice but a bit dated in comparison, and the wine was much better at Pupa

Nothing, this was a fantastic stay and a true highlight of our time in Albania.

A beautiful family-run winery with a great staff. We had a private tour with one of the brothers and his son of the vineyards, pressing and processing rooms, which also included great information about the area. They also provided us with a wonderful wine tasting. Their wines were the best we had in Albania. We had a lovely meal outside, and the breakfast was outstanding. The room was large with nice details and a great bathroom.

Amazing location, staff and wine

The place is just magnificent. The rooms are clean, The wine tasting and tour are great. It is a family business and everyone is involved and friendly. They make great wines and use local produce for their menu. Its located 10 min from Berat the road is fine to drive. When in albania we will come back here, even if we have to make a detour.

We can only think about one thing. In the food menu we would like to see a bit more options with the focus on tourist outside of the Balkan. The menu isnt very clear. However the staff is well willing to explain everything.

Nothing to dislike!

Lovely building, spacious room. The hospitality was incredible - loved the wine tour and tasting from the family, followed by great food (and a few raki shots!)
