The location was fantastic and each room gets their own sunbeds on the beach. Our room was very nice and convenient. The food at the restaurant was also extremely good. The standout for us was the staff- Dimitra and Fadi were lovely and really helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Very nice beach front property. Friendly and helpful owner. Our room was comfortable with a fridge and kettle. By the beach with two free beach chairs. Close to everything you need, restaurants & a grocery market. Great stay, wonderful beach. Patio with chairs & table.

Our stay at Potami Seashell was perfect! From the very first moment, we felt truly welcome. Dimitra greeted us with warmth, kindness and genuine care. I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The room was spotless, modern, and had one of the most beautiful sea views I’ve ever seen — waking up to the sound of waves and watching the sunset from the balcony was truly unforgettable. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to assist with anything we needed, from recommendations to arranging transportation. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ comfort. The location was perfect — peaceful, but still close to restaurants and beaches. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay by the sea. I would definitely return!

You do get a bit of noise from outside and other flats, but generally not a big issue.

The location was fantastic, you're right in the beach and get 2 sun loungers reserved too The staff that booked us in and worked at the restaurant were the most helpful and kind people and really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable!

From when we set foot on the property, Dimytra made our stay as comfortable as she possibly could. The private beach lidos were the icing on the cake for a beautiful couple of days in Himare. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Potami Seashell. The hotel is right on the beach, which made it super easy to enjoy the sea and the beautiful views. The whole place has a cozy, family feel. Dimitra, who runs the hotel, is so friendly and helpful – you can tell she really cares that her guests have a good time. The rooms were fresh, clean, and nicely looked after. Everything felt comfortable and welcoming. If you're looking for a laid-back place by the beach with great hospitality, Potami Seashell is a great choice.

I would like to have a restaurant area but they were working on it for summer time.

We loved the location, the beautiful sea was only 10metrs away. the staff was very kind with us. I asked for extra blankets because was cold during and they were very nice with my petition.

Top notch experience staying at Potami Seashell. I extended my stay from 4 days to 3 weeks. It was fabulous, right on the beautiful Ionian Sea, tucked inside the bay of Himare, quaint family owned hotel with a small, tasty restaurant, decorated effortlessly cool. Dimitra is incredible - helpful, funny, respectful and her experience with her own travel makes her an attuned and excellent host. Dimitra's mother, Vaso, and sister, Athena, prepare many of their dishes with fresh cheeses, vegetables and meats sourced from the families garden. It's the best location in Himare - to one direction you have a short walk along the seaside boardwalk into the center of town and in the other direction is a bluff, where you can hike to a kind of hidden and beautiful beach inside a canyon. This was exactly the experience I was looking for. A beautiful, cozy, affordable corner of the world to relax and feel at home. I went at the end of September and into early October. It's the end of tourist season, the weather was gorgeous, mostly sunny and warm and a few cool stormy days. The water temperature perfect and calm seas. Could it get any better? Dreaming of my return.
