On the small downside, a few basic things could be improved: some bathrooms lacked simple cloth-hanging options, there were no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms, and while some rooms were beautifully decorated, they didn’t have blinds for the showers. For couples this is fine, but with little children it can be less practical — perhaps a removable blind option would be ideal. Overall, these were only minor points in what was otherwise a wonderful stay, and we would happily return and highly recommend the hotel to others.

We had a truly excellent stay at Hotel Porta e Alpeve. The rooms were very comfortable and spotless, and the facilities were modern and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, and the dinners were just as good — a real highlight of our stay. The hotel also has a lovely playing area for children, which was a great addition for families. Above all, the staff were exceptionally welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, which made the experience feel very special. It was the perfect mix of comfort, great food, family-friendly facilities, and outstanding hospitality. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

It’s location. Out side shkorda town but still in a relatively short driving distance to town and to the lake . On the road to the Albanian Alps , the National Park of Teeth which is one of the highlights of nature in Northern Albania. The food at the hotel is very good in quality. Breakfast is served A La Cart . Guest Rooms are sized at a five star standard . Hotel staff is very friendly

Such a luxurious hotel. Highly enjoyed our stay. One of the comfiest beds I have stayed on. Staff was so helpful and kind to us. The restaurant was great and the food was delicious. Could not recommend this place enough. Good location as we needed to stop after leaving the mountains of Teth.

I highly recommend this place. You can relax while enjoying a meal or a drink with a fantastic view between the mountains, where also the Shkodra lake can be seen on the horizon. The staff was very kind. Everything was clean to perfection. The rooms have a luxury theme, with a minifridge and everything you need. The food was very good and with ample portions. The outdoor of the hotel was fantastic. It gives give you maximum comfort, with music in low tones.

The hotel is very new and is still experiencing some teething problems. Regular power cuts, though they only last a few minutes. The swimming pool is currently being built, so there is background noise. The hotel is in front of a prison. I can't really imagine lying by the pool and staring up at the prison.

Beautiful building with fantastic views of the lake. Friendly staff. Very close to some wonderful mountain drives. Great for a stay of one or two nights.
