Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwedenWhat could have been nicer is if there were bit more social feeling. While there were many guests there, it didn’t feel like it used all the potential for making it even better with like a camp fire or some social events or so.
Such wonderful camping! Amazing location, beautiful setup with the tents. Great private swimming spots. We have been to many campings around the world and this one definitely is high on our top list.

United KingdomNo complaints.
Oh, what a fab location! I've not relaxed this much in ages. So peaceful and quiet...apart from a bit of music coming from the next door camp in the evening. But the music respectfully stops before midnight. The wi-fi is available only in the camp cafe which is perfect because you get a proper detox from phone and social media in general. Walking distance from all the restaurants and bars.

FranceThe camp site is not to be blamed but waves of waste (cigarette butts, weird foam etc) came through the water regularly … (probably the boats ?)
Away from the crowded and noisy city centre yet close enough to go to the restaurants by foot. The camp site is quiet and perfectly located on the sea side. There’s a nice fresh breeze under the pine trees when everything is so hot everywhere else. They provided the tent, the mattresses and sheets which makes it easy if you don’t have gear.

NorwayOn the second day of my stay, it seemed that the flush in the men's toilet wasn’t working. was dirty at that time. The site was quite crowded, and I’m concerned that fire safety might not be well managed, especially since it’s a coniferous forest. I think that for such number of people, it would be nice to have a more comfortable shower and a modern toilet.
I really enjoyed the nature at the campsite. Overall, I liked the place. There were many people, but they behaved calmly.

DenmarkThe loud music from the city center played until 3am… Has nothing to do with this place, though.
Beautiful spot in Himara! Crystal clear water and fine tents. Kind of a hippie-vibe.

ItalyThey don’t have a place to lock your luggage. There are only few charging outlets around so make sure to bring a power bank. The walk from the city is 15 minutes and it’s very steep you have to climb up a flight of stairs and it’s not very clear where to go unless you have google maps but you can ask around.
This was my first time camping and I’m positively surprised. The location is gorgeous, in the middle of nature and trees and your morning view is the sea. No sound of city just crickets and waves. I was alone so the tent was very comfortable for me. The bathroom and shower are not the best but honestly it’s standard for nature stays. You can also swim, there’s a ladder you get off from or you can just simply jump from the rocks. The staff was nice and cordial. They also sell water and beverages in case you cant make it to the supermarket.

SerbiaExceeded my expectations. This was my first time sleeping in a tent, so I had my doubts but it turned out great. The mattreses in the tents are comfy, the place has wc and its own beach. How cool is that?

CanadaMaybe it is not suited for everyone but it’s such a vibe. That camping was one of the highlights of our travel. We enjoyed drinking our coffe by the water in the morning and jumping for a swim. The camping is calm. I personally think is worth staying there instead of an appartement in the town.

Czech Republicvery loud music from nearby camps and restaurants. definitely not their fault but if you're traveling with small children, you should know. even though it's a camp, there's unfortunately no kitchen, only a sink to wash dishes. that's not a bad thing as they are upfront in the description, but it gets inconvenient when you're staying for a few days. plus there are only 3 toilets (one with a missing seat 🙈) for the whole camp.
Extremely beautiful scenery, very clean tents, charging stations all over the camp, bar with good coffee and board games, overall a great place to chill. The cliff has a good water entrance and the sea is super clean, you can see 3 metres below you.

United StatesOverall things felt a little bit grimy, which I love camping I’m from Montana and camp all the time but when it’s your own gear it’s different than thinking of all the people that have slept on the same mattress in the same old tent that doesn’t seem to get deeply cleaned, sinks were clogged, showers could have been cleaner, trash cans are always full. It’s a lot of people cohabitating in a not large area. The coffee in the morning and ocean access makes up for a lot of that for a lot of people I think!
Best ocean access in Himare probably! Cool people and vibe. We got lucky with a good location right on the water because we were staying for 3 nights, some tent locations are better than others for sure. We woke up every morning and jumped in the ocean then got the best coffee we had our whole trip from the bar area! It was a nice social crowd as well. You can have your sheets changed everyday if you desire.

Canadait’s cash only — sometimes it would have been easier if they took card. also, most places in town were cash only (not a downside just something to be aware of).
great campground right on the ocean. the staff were super friendly. they provided the tent, mattress, blankets, pillows and towels. bathroom and shower facilities were always clean and stocked. the reception has a coffee bar and beer. the wifi at the reception is really strong but it doesn’t reach much of the tent areas — not a big deal because there’s also really strong cell service all throughout the campground.
