Staying here felt more like being welcomed into a home than just booking a place to stay. Dora and her husband were incredibly kind and attentive, always there if you needed anything, but never intrusive. The atmosphere had a genuinely warm, family vibe, with their adorable children adding to the charm. There’s a special kind of positive energy in the way they host, and it made the whole experience feel personal and memorable.

The house was not far from the beach, but it was located uphill, so it was a little tiring to go up and down.

We had a very good time at Penelope 2. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and everything was perfectly clean. The evenings were quiet, and the breakfast was instantly prepared with fresh food. The view from the house was very picturesque.

Well located, Dora and Spiros are very helpful and very generous. The room is big for a couple with a small balcony with a good view. The bed is comfortable, everything went well.

Air con cut out in the middle of the night due to electricity cut - nothing really to be done about that - not a big deal.

Super friendly hosts, great location up the hill from the beach, kind to do our laundry and accommodated us to reduce from 2 to 1 room when two people in our group were unable to join unexpectedly.

Nothing all was perfect.

Absolutely lovely stay. We celebrated my partner's birthday there and the owner with her kids were so kind, and prepared some balloons and happy birthday messages! It's about 15 minutes down to the beach. The room has a balcony with a lovely view. Would definitely recommend. Paying cash.

The hosts were the cutest couple I ever met. Bonus the extra historical pieces of information from the originally historian host. Everything was superclean, the view is amazing. They were constantly around to help with anything

Dhermi is basically one steep hill starting at beach up to the top - this is not a minus, but just something to remember ;)

The stay was amazing. Great, helpful host. Amazing, homemade breakfast. Perfect localisation - in the middle between main road and the beach (15 min to each). Thanks to that the place is quiet (unlikely to hotels by the promenade). Room with the balcony was very comfortable and bathroom clean. In addition - there were all those small things that makes you feel welcome (for example, we were provided with anti-mosquito specific when we were sitting on the balcony). I can highly recommend this place! :)

Bathroom adhesive hangers couldn't hold face towels, wifi was slow.

Accommodating and friendly host. The room was nice, the view outside is amazing and the beach is like 10mins away on foot. Had a great stay.

I had an amazing stay. Spiros and his mother were extremely accommodating and hospitable, they are the most amazing hosts, I cannot speak more highly of them. Breakfast was delicious and the price was very good even though I booked last minute.

A couple of nights there was a dog barking outside for some time

Far from all the new all-look-alike five star hotels and bars being built on the beach. Penelope offers a more down to earth experience, with an excellent attention by it's hosts Spiros and his mother. Just sitting on the balcony looking at the mountains on one side and the sea on the other, surrounded by the multiple flowers and trees in the garden made a huge part of our stay in Dhermi (and not to forget the delicious breakfast).

Lovely hosts made us feel so welcome! Beautiful area and location is great for the walk down to the beach. Parking is easy and hosts recommended places to eat and see!

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Penelope, with our host Spiros. It was such a pleasant stay, clean and comfortable. Spiros and his mother made us feel like family and give us good insider tips about restaurants and beaches in Dhermi. We would give it a 10/10 and hope to come back one day!
