How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The toilet seat in our room was broken and didn’t get fixed while we were there. It was also expensive for the room and breakfast was limited

The Worst Hotel Experience – Not Worth Even One Star! This place is an absolute disgrace. Do NOT waste your money here! The sea is beautiful, but that’s thanks to nature, not this so-called “hotel.” We paid an outrageous price (around €500 per night) and got conditions worse than a construction site. We booked a “villa,” but what we got was NOT a villa at all – it was an unfinished apartment under renovation, with building materials scattered inside, filthy floors, broken glass, no running water, and no working air conditioning. The entrance door was literally a glass balcony door, with zero security, and cleaning staff left their tools lying around. Breakfast? A complete joke. What they offer has nothing to do with the price you’re paying. Staff? Rude and unprofessional, except for Fabio and Dani who at least tried. The rest didn’t care at all. The beach bar? Prices are at least 30% higher than everywhere else in the area. And those “included” sunbeds? Forget about choosing them – they claim they belong to the beach bar (which is part of the hotel!) If you don’t want your vacation ruined, stay away from this scam. Do NOT spend € for stress and disappointment.

The overdevelopment of this coastline is shameful and sad . Someone told us it was beautiful and it was just sad. No infrastructure to support the amount of people and disgraceful overdevelopment. Traffic was terrible parking was a shambles and there was so much rubbish.

Many stairs to get to the hotel, restaurant did not have flexibility for kids, as it was in the end of the beach, the access to restaurants were a bit far away ( 800 meters walk).

Verified reviewWe stayed at the Palladium Beach Hotel this past week and had a mixed experience. The highlight of the stay was definitely the beach — absolutely beautiful, with clear, inviting water that did not disappoint. Our room was located on the first floor with a beachfront view. It included two twin beds, a queen- size bed, and a stand-up shower. The room was fairly nice and very clean, with great housekeeping service. One downside was the balcony. It wasn’t private, as it was part of an L-shaped layout that extended around the building, allowing others to walk right by. That took away from the comfort and sense of privacy we were hoping for. The parking staff, however, were excellent — very professional and polite. They made us feel safe and confident leaving our car and keys with them. Unfortunately, our biggest disappointment came from the on-site Ikebana beach bar and restaurant. For the price we paid to stay here, we expected much better service and food quality. Breakfast was included, but the buffet was minimal with very few options. They served only diner-style American coffee, and if you wanted a cappuccino, it was an extra charge. Dinner at Ikebana wasn’t much better — despite a 20% discount for hotel guests, the food was expensive and lacked flavor. After trying it once, we chose not to return for the rest of our stay. Overall, while the location and beach are fantastic, the food and dining service fell well below expectations, especially given the price point. I would recommend this hotel only for its beachfront access — but not for the dining experience.

I was really disappointed by my stay here - it is most definitely not worth the high season price. The room was fine, couldn’t say it was any more than that and not a reflection of the price. Drains in the bathroom smelled, poor finishings in the bathroom, the hairdryer was a tiny rubbish thing attached to the wall. No robe, no minibar etc. If you are charging €220 per night I would expect better. I was in the room right beside reception, and there is an 2 inch gap underneath the door (easily fixed) meaning it was very loud during the day. I flagged it straight away to reception and asked if I could change room. They did kindly offer me another room but it was upstairs and did not have a balcony (which I had paid for in my booking). So I had the choice of a noisy room or loosing out on more value for money in getting a lesser room than paid for. I had put do not disturb on and came back from breakfast to find hotel staff had been in the room. When I asked reception about it they said they were just changing the towels (which I didn’t need as I hadn’t even been in 24 hours by this point) but more to the point I had do not disturb on so wouldn’t expect people to have been in. Changing the towels is a nice gesture but they should have asked before going in. After having had to speak to the reception staff about 2 things in the first day of my stay I felt they became unfriendly / unwelcoming after that. (I come from hospitality background and am extremely nice I the way I say things so it wasn’t merited). Whilst breakfast has an absolutely stunning view, the food offering was super limited. Again for me it all comes back to the price point. It would be fine if the price wasn’t so high. Beach bar prices are a joke (had seen this in some reviews on google). I understand ordering from the beach bar you pay for the convenience element, but the price of a bottle of water is 5x what you pay at the shop just down the street.
