How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The shared kitchen is not very well equipped, but we managed it
This place is very well located and has a nice sea view. The room was clean and the owners very friendly, we enjoyed our stay here

Both the fridge and the aircon in our room (nr 5) made a lot more noise than normal (we had to unplug the fridge at night). The so called "fully equipped" kitchen is outdoors in the backyard and hardly equipped at all.
The location is pretty good, 50 m off the main road leading to the beach which is about a 5 minute walk away. Restaurants/shops nearby.

The location and cleanliness of the room was great. We had amazing sea views. So Close to the beach and the shops, the staff were also very nice. Will stay again.

Room was cleaned just once during a 5-day stay. Not sure if that’s typical in Albania.
Great balcony with ocean view. Air conditioning works very well and doesn’t get too cold.

Needs black out curtains!
I stayed here for the first night of a 5night trip. Arrived late as my flight was delayed and the host was there to meet me still. He didn't speak any English so we used Google translate. The room was clean and spacious. There was a fridge with water, beer ect. That you could purchase drinks from. The shower was fine and the bed comfortable. There weren't any curtains, just a thin sheer net so if I hadn't had a face mask I would have struggled to sleep. Overall for the money, a good option, a 5 minute walk from the beach!

I was here for 4 days with my friends. The room, view and neighborhood was perfect. It was very close to the beach and center of Dhermi and I will definitely come back again!!!

The staff was very kind to us, very helpful, the room was clean, 5 min from the beach and close with any other places like Dhermi beach,Drymades, Palase. I highely recommand this place 🤗🤗

It was very close to the beach and to the markets in the area. However it is very safe and quiet, since it is not adjacent to the main road. The staff were very friendly and all the facilities were clean.

Nothing!
The location is very favorable for getting to the beach as well as getting to restaurants and shops. It is quiet at night, as it is located a bit further away from the main road. Yet everything was easy to reach by foot. The hotel staff is very helpful and welcome. They were always helpful, and the owner Marko offered me a ride to the bus stop up the hill.

Highly recomand this hotel! Location is perfect, you can go to the beach by walking! Rooms are spacious and very clean! From the balcony there is a beautiful sea view. You can take a walk nearby so can enjoy a mountin view also. I like very much the way AC is positioned ,it doesn’t blow directly towards you, so you can have a comfortable sleep! The owners are very friendly and nice! It is a quiet place, very good positioned! Children can play around the hotel! I have been many times at this hotel and I will go for sure again!

The place was totally overpriced compared to the other places we stayed in Albania (150 euros for 1 night): Bathroom was super small and old, no amenities, toilet seat broken, only 1 toilet paper roll... The place could be great with some works!
Location is top, 10mn walk to the seaside, the girl that welcomed us was super friendly and nice! Nice balcony. Free parking.

This is an absolutely wonderful place, fantastic location, lovely family, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a very nice stay and our hosts were the kindest people and helpful in so many ways. We can’t say enough good things about his special hotel and if you have a chance to stay here, take it! Highly recommend!
