How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

For ~80 EURO per Person, missing facilities like Pool, Dinner, Beach Beds or even free drinks , are not great, especially since the nearby hotels do provide them for a similar price. I believe this would be a step up on the stay

Overpriced, breakfast poor, what the hell did they cook the eggs in? Also unfortunately it's in Ksamil which is a dump, if they stopped businesses from sticking stuff on the beach and cleaned up the town the whole place would be better, never again

It's a bit of a walk to the main part of Ksamil, but this also meant that it wasn't as busy and more peaceful. So it depends what you're looking for!

Very thin walls and could hear everything all noises from the neighbors from other rooms. The hotel is very close to the beach and beach clubs, so music is blasting until 12 am from the parties. Breakfast could be much better (more healthy options, more fruit, and better quality). This is a decent place, but not a 4* hotel and not good value for money in Albania.

Verified reviewThe location of the hotel was good. It’s a bit far from the central beaches, but still fine because you can walk. It takes about 15–25 minutes on foot to popular beaches. The hotel is very close to Paradise and Lori Beach, as well as Principotes, but unfortunately, the water at these beaches is very stagnant and dirty, almost like a pool, and sometimes smells bad. If you walk about 20-25 minutes, you can reach much better beaches like Poda, Ksamil, and Rilinda, which are wider, cleaner, and feel more open.
The surroundings of the hotel, especially at night, smelled strongly of sewage. The corridors leading to the rooms had no air conditioning, and even the elevator didn’t have ventilation. With the windows open in the corridors, the sewage smell spread into the hotel. The cleaning was also very poor, there was hair on the beds and in the bathroom. At first glance the room looked clean, but it was obvious they only wiped the surfaces quickly. There wasn’t even a drying rack on the balcony, so you had to hang your wet towels and swimsuits over the railing. The cleaning staff also left a dirty towel under our shampoo bottles, which felt like a joke.

For clarification, the popular beaches you referred tO, such as Ksamil and Poda are actually located just 800 meters to 1 kilometer from the hotel, typically a 10-minute walk. The area offers a great balance of options within walking distance. Regarding your remarks about odors, we want to be clear that the corridors and all shared environments are equIpment with air c. but when the the outdoor temperature in not high the windows stay open to allow for natural air circulation. The hotel has not had any confirmed reports of sewage smells in the surrounding area, because this kind of problem doesn't exist. Cleanliness and comfort remain a top priority for us, and we consistently monitor the premises to ensure a pleasant environment. On the topic of room cleanliness, it's worth noting that your party declined housekeeping during your 3-night stay. With three female adults in a room and no interim cleaning is naturally expected and cannot fairly be attributed to poor cleaning standards. Our team is always available to provide cleaning or support when given permission to do so. Finally, we were also surprised that your group left without settling the room bill, which included several bar items. While we are not pursuing this matter, it’s important to mention for the sake of transparency, as it reflects the overall context of your stay. Not a big preference for me but there is no pool. But when I come here that is the last things I look for, who needs a pool when you have several beaches with a 5 minute walk

Verified reviewVery disappointing stay – not worth the price Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was far below expectations. On two separate days, we were given dirty towels, which is simply unacceptable. Additionally, we were only provided one key card for the room, which was very inconvenient since I was staying with someone else. When I asked for an extra card, I was told it wasn’t possible. Only after insisting and speaking to another staff member were we finally given two cards. The air conditioning barely worked – it took forever to cool the room, which made it very uncomfortable, especially compared to the experience of friends who were staying next door at Oliver Hotel. They had great service, and their air conditioning worked perfectly – they were very happy with their stay. We also had issues with parking. We had informed the hotel in advance that we would need to leave early in the morning to catch a boat and were told that someone would be there to move the car. However, in the morning, the person responsible wasn’t there, and the receptionist on duty didn’t know how to maneuver the cars. As a result, my partner had to move both cars himself, which caused a 30-minute delay and almost made us miss our boat. Overall, the experience was not at all worth the price we paid, especially considering how much better the service was at the hotel right next door. I would not recommend this place and won’t be returning.

Regarding the room keys, while one was given at first, we ultimately provided you with four during your stay. Two of those were returned damaged, but we never charged you or raised the issue — our goal was simply to make your stay as comfortable as possible. As for the air conditioning, our team came to assist you twice and found that the unit had been set to heating mode both times. Once it was switched to cooling, it worked normally. We're always happy to help with adjustments like this — sometimes it's just a small setting that makes a big difference. About the parking, we were surprised to read your comments. You were provided with free parking for your entire stay, and on the morning of your departure, our staff was present and ready to help. There's no indication from our side of any delay or issue caused by the team, and we believe that part of your review doesn’t reflect what actually happened.
