The road on the way to property by car is a nightmare. If you have a big car, don’t try it (park outside the village)

It was a really nice place to stay! The village is very nice and quiet, but the roads are narrow and the parking was a nightmare (thankfully they provided us with a spot on their “garage”). The staff were really friendly and helpful. The woman cooked for us a lovely breakfast and brought us coffee and tea. The rooms were clean, cozy and comfortable. We had the bedroom with the balcony, right over the lake. Really good view!

The place is idyllic, such a relaxing and familiar atmosphere! The owners are very friendly and I really enjoyed the nature, the food and being able to bathe in the lake and admire the natural beauty of this place. It's a true gem!

The road into the village is one way and very narrow. I would recommend parking at the start of the village and walking to the property.

Absolutly nothing

This was the most beautiful stay in Albania so far. The Ohrid Lake is a beautiful place to stay. Crystal clear water with a wonderful nature around. Swimming there was really a highlight. We had the most beautiful room (Nr.7) with a spectacular view over the lake (watch the photo). The hosts are so nice. You can go out with him in the morning at 4am for fishing and late in the evening hes still there to offer you some drinks. She is so sweet and fulfilled every wish (even the Icecubes :)). One day she cooks some "Knödel" with a czech lady and offers them for free. We felt really a little bit like family members. So if you want a quit place at lake Ohrid with everything you need for relaxing with friendly people around and good prizes....you cannot do anything wrong.

Very cosy and relaxing place, delicious breakfast, excellent sunbeds at the private small pier, where you can go swimming. Much of wildlife (birds and fishes) around to observe. We wished we could have stayed longer..

We stayed at the accommodation for just one day, but we will definitely come back. A wonderful location and extremely friendly and helpful hosts who are always ready to assist. They also made sure our motorcycle was safely parked in the garage. Many thanks again to the amazing hosts.

Hard to reach with the car, although our hosts allowed us to park safely in their gated yard. Stairs to top floor very steep, difficult with luggage. Evening meal and wine was expensive by Albanian standards.

Having to leave

Nesti is nestled in the most beautiful setting on Lake Ohrid. The views of the lake, the gorgeous village life, the resting chairs by the lake, family life, the delightful breakfast sitting watching the boat life, the bird life & the different moods of the lake. The host was attentive & super friendly. The room was a good size with a view that had me in awe & staring most of the time.
