How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Everything about this hotel was superb. it exceeded all my expectations. The sound proofing in the room is excellent making it very nice and peaceful. you would regret having to leave

We paid for an upgrade but the air conditioning didn’t work - we needed to leave at 3 am. So didn’t call maintenance when we got back from dinner as we thought we could manage. Ultimately we ended up with no sleep!

The breakfast was good, but only 1 coffee is free (if you want to take a 2nd one, you have to pay extra).
Late night check-in worked perfectly and the staff was very nice. Excellent location, close to the airport.

Everything was great.

I experienced certain issues with Wifi in our room, so I had to walk to reception to use the internet. There are quite comfy coaches there, so it was not a big deal for me :)
Located in walking distance from the airport. Very helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Coffee is really good (as almost everywhere in Albania) and really cheap (comparing to northern europe :) ) Really good place to stay when you need to travel late.

1. Internet almost did not work in our room 2. Poor breakfast
Location, big room, 24h reception desk, relatively quick check in. There is an option is transfer to the airport (we did not use) We had a room in the corner on the 2nd floor with panoramic windows and huge balcony. In fact the view is so-so, so the balcony is not very useful.

In one of the booked rooms, which was supposed to have 3 beds prepared for sleeping, only 2 were actually made up. When we asked for bedding, the staff only provided bedspreads, as they couldn’t find or didn’t have a duvet. There was a limited selection for breakfast. There was no coffee machine available for self-service, which was unusual, and we had to ask for coffee at the bar.
Near the airport. It took about 10-20 minutes to get there.

Not their fault but the walk from airport late at night is quite dangerous as no path for a short bit.
Very nice airport hotel. We had a suite and it was a huge room, newly done. 2 separate living areas, very good for a family

Only the main bed is comfortable for sleeping, the others are very uncomfortable even for children. Breakfast selection is poor and not replenished on time.
Close to the airport, suitable for an overnight stay with an early or late flight. The price does not match the quality, but there are almost no other better options near the airport.

Expensive for the rates in Albania. We were supposed to pay in euros but they converted to Lek at a horrible rate and ended paying extra. The curtains allowed to pass a lot of light walking ya up very early.

Literally everything in the room was falling off. The toilet in the bathroom flushed itself every 10 minutes, which prevented me from sleeping. The breakfast was very poor, and the dishes were dirty. The elevator was very slow.
The hotel is located near the airport, which is convenient for an overnight flight. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

In my view breakfast could be a little more varied and the staff be more smiling. However, everything went well with everyone.
This is an Airport Hotel, so to speak and for the function serves well. Reasonable rooms, although relatively small, continental breakfast and has in the same building the Hertz.
