While the interior looks great, it seems more thought was put into aesthetics than comfort or functionality. The shower isn't enclosed, so it’s very easy to splash water all over the bathroom floor. There’s no place to hang towels – not even basic hooks in the bathroom. The sink takes up the whole countertop, leaving no space to place your toiletries. We also happened to stay during a power outage, and the outdoor lights didn’t work during dinner, which made the experience less pleasant. Dinner was disappointing for the price – the meat was dry, and the pasta was undercooked. We definitely had much better meals elsewhere for similar prices.

The location alone is worth staying here – the setting is truly authentic. It’s a charming wooden house that looks very photogenic. The surroundings are cozy, with chickens walking around, which really makes you feel like you're in a real countryside village. The room itself is modern and visually appealing. Breakfast, which was included, was very tasty and filling – the pancakes especially left a great impression.

Breakfast was poor we could only eat the boiled eggs as there were flies on everything- granted most people didn’t seem to bother but we did. The only hot drink available with breakfast was Turkish coffee which for us is an acquired taste. No hot water at all after 2pm so if you need a shower after a days hiking it’s gonna be a cold one.

Wifi didn't work that well, also in the morning, we had no electricity so we couldn't charge our phones or turn on the lights. We went to eat in the restaurant in the evening, but we had to wait a long time and the food came separately.

There wasn’t any air con in our room which meant it was quite warm (we visited in July) but just slept with the window open.

The place was clean, comfortable, modern and in an ideal location to hike to Blue Eye and the waterfall! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and delicious.

Even deluxe room is pretty small. There is no terrace and no place to chill in the garden, only the restaurant tables. I would suggest to invest in some leisure chairs as everyone wants to enjoy the view and chill after the hike.

The shower had no curtains and it flooded the whole bathroom. In on of the rooms, there was a fan in the bathroom that did a lot of noise most of the time.

The stuff was great and very helpful. It’s a beautiful place, all build with wood. Comfy beds and breakfast. Great place to start the Valbona track.

No kettle to boil hot water. The weather was so cold and rainy. Heater cannot be on or maybe we don't know how to On. No rod or hook to hang bath towel. Soap/Toiletries has to be put on the floor in the shower room.

What we dis not know as there are no pictures of the cottage on Booking.com was that the bathroom is separated from bedroom only with glass wall🫣. There is a small curtain that covers 1/3 of area (you need to move it around before/after toilet/shower use). Also there is NO door so both smells and sounds goes directly to bedroom. For some this may be ok but at least it should be clear from booking site. Restaurant room is un-interesting (like an eating hall). It is clear that in summer time you eat outside in the gardeen. Food was ok but it took some time to prepare.

Good and big bed in cottage with nice view to clean garden and surrounding mountains (see picture - that is actual morning look from the bed). The glass facade is truly one way look - you have a full and magnificent look out but others can’t see in. Heating (needed a night first in October) and warm water. Even a bathtoo with views to mountains. The guy in the restaurant is really helpful and will help you choosing trekking routes. Nice and clean garden. Solid breakfast.

The restaurant served poor food, the order took way too long, most of the items on the menu were unavailable and the staff didn’t know to explain how much food was per one portion.

When we checked in, there was no one in reception and the man that we had to flag down from the kitchen was not super helpful. Cost 100 euro/night, but no aircon or built in fans when daytime temps were up to 40 degrees. We had to ask for a fan from reception for the first night but they had run out, and subsequently really struggled to sleep on that first night. Second night we were able to get one, but would just prefer them to have a fan in every room, instead of spending their money building a bathroom mirror with a backlight. They had a heater on the wall so we don't understand why they were able to prepare for the winter weather but not for the summer weather- which is their high season. Wasps at breakfast were an absolute nightmare. You could not even enjoy your breakfast as 10-15 wasps and bees would descend upon you as soon as the food was put down. It made eating breakfast difficult and both my partner and I had to eat quickly and then get out of there for some sort of relief.

Accommodation was central so easy to get to after finishing the valbona-theth hike, and also easy to go for a dip in the river and get a bus to blue eye. Staff for the most part were friendly and tried to accommodate our requests, specifically a fan in the room, and also helped us book a bus back to Shkoder when we checked out.

The shower design meant that the water didn’t drain quickly and our bathroom flooded whenever we used it. No air conditioning in our room, however that was our mistake as we didn’t realise this when booking.

The property was modern and very clean throughout. The hotel is in a perfect location for basing yourself to do all of the hiking trails in Theth. The breakfast is delicious and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They also do a fantastic dinner with reasonable prices.

Dinner was supposed to start at 6pm, we went down at 7:30pm and the whole place was empty and looked closed so we went to a restaurant just next door which was delicious! The bathroom flooded quite a lot every time one of us had a shower but it drained eventually!

Great location close to the centre of the village and only about 5 mins walk to the start of the trail, lovely modern and clean room, they gave us a packed lunch when we left early for our hike, beautiful views.

The food service was good, but there were wasps everywhere. Rotting fruit and full bins near the food service area likely did not help. Made it almost impossible to enjoy eating there.
