The Resort is right by the lake and thus makes the perfect peaceful cooldown stop on a summer vacation in hot Albania. We loved our stay here away from the noisy city. Also, the restaurant is great with big portions and very reasonable pricing. We stayed in one of the air conditioned hotel rooms, but even the campsites are all fairly private and provide lots of natural shade! Would absolutely stay here again!

I would have liked a kettle in the room for a cup of tea or coffee; however, the restaurant served excellent espresso and local tea, which was very affordable.

Our breakfast overlooked Lake Shkoder, and every morning we dined at the restaurant and ate exceptionally fresh local food, which was delicious.

There is 3% commission on all credit card payments - wasn't mentioned anywhere on booking.com/resort website (or we didn't see it). Maybe the walls are soundproof, but there was a lot of noise from the hallway through the door.

Wasn’t major but maybe useful for people to know, in the family bungalow the mezzanine is very low (our 6 year old couldn’t sit up on the mattress without touching the ceiling with head, so wasn’t keen to sleep up there)!

Beautiful location, campsite is so well kept and the staff are great. The on site restaurant is fantastic and the food is so fresh. It was spotless and the kitchenette was very well set up and equipped. Lovely extras on site, like bikes, kayaks and SUPs.

The staff did not change the towels and clean the room every day.

A magical, peaceful place at the shore of Lake Shkodra. So lush and green - a large space full of grass, trees, birds chirping. Many caravans are parked in the compound. There are also regular parking spots for the guests of the hotel or tree houses. We took a hotel room. It is not large, but clean, and has the basic facilities. An advantage is that the water in the resort are drinkable. The price is affordable, although breakfast is not included. However, there is an excellent restaurant in the resort; it is open from morning till late evening and has a variety of food - fresh, tasty and for low prices and very good service. There is also a minimarket and laundry services inside the resort. Bear in mind, though, that the staff do not freshen up the room or supply clean towels unless you explicitly ask the staff to do it ... The resort offers a daily boat tour to Komani lake and Shala river, which includes lunch and a minibus transportation from the resort and back - recommended.

Lovely location by the lake. Good restaurant with cosy atmosphere and reasonable prices that make up for the fact that breakfast is not included. Very clean cabin and comfortable beds. Secured free parking and clean facilities. Water activities available even in octobre.

We absolutely loved staying at Lake Shkodra Resort. The campsite is set in stunning surroundings and is very clean and comfortable. The staff are so lovely and go out of their way to be helpful. The lake is just beautiful and very peaceful, and it is possible to go swimming even if you're not a confident swimmer. The restaurant is also excellent with a wide menu and home cooked food. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.

Had an amazing 2 nights here. The food was so good and such a beautiful place. The room was great, hot water and very clean bathroom. Clean sheets and towels. The staff were great! we kayaked on the lake for €7 an hour and it was brilliant. Also place is gated so we felt very safe. 10/10 stay would recommend!!

Washing was about 4 euros per load, and must be paid in cash. There is also no washing basket, but the washing line for people staying in the hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the washing room, so you have to find a way to transport your washing.

Location was STUNNING, and property absolutely exceeded our expectations! Was extremely clean, pretty room, comfortable bed and had all the utilities we needed! The Villa itself had everything you need, very cheap restaurant, paddleboarding, row boats, a wharf, hammocks and day beds! Absolutely loved it.

Hotel can be a bit noisy.

I loved this place. It's got a campground atmosphere so don't expect 5 stars but thats also what gives it a great feel plus people from all over. The small hotel room has tons of storage, is shuttered so it can get really dark for sleeping, is super clean, and has a great bed. There is a really diverse reasonably priced restaurant on site with excellent food, and every member of the staff is really nice. There's a laundry on site too so this place has everything dor the long term traveler PLUS that gorgeous lake and the views. It's so relaxed I could go live there all summer.

Excellent find. We stayed there for 5 nights. Its very calm but very well connected to Shkoder and to discover the North. The views are immaculate, couldn’t get enough. We used their Komani Lake/Shala river tour, very well organized and shout out to our awesome driver. The room isnt super big, but big enough and very clean and modern. The facilities are awesome, we kayakked and that was awesome. Lake is very clean to swim in. We ate almost everyday at least once at the restaurant, food is delicious and in large portions. The staff is just wonderful, super friendly and welcoming. Just North Albanian hospitality at its best :)

Nothing. It was all fantastic!

This was a perfect 4 night stay after the mountains to soak up some sun and swimming. From the very beginning the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We ate at the restaurant twice for breakfast and twice for dinner. The food is fantastic and the restaurant is a lovely setting to watch the sun go down over the lake. We stayed in a tree house, which whilst basic had a really comfy massive bed, great bathroom and white fluffy towels. It also had really.good air-conditioning and a fridge. I took my own kettle so i would recommend taking a travel one if you like your morning cup of tea. It was absolutely perfect and I'll definitely be coming back!

Exceptionally good rooms, quality mattress and pillows, crispy sheets, bright bathroom with a large walk-in shower, shower gel/shampoo provided. Superb restaurant, welcoming staff, very clean camp all around.
