Had an amazing stay at La Onda in Durrës. The staff at La Onda made sure to accomodate our needs and made us feel super welcome during our stay. Only good things to say here 🥰 Had an amazing stay. The staff were super proffesional and respectful, very polite. The location was perfect for our liking, the hotel was super clean and delicious breakfast was served everyday. We will definitely be coming back.

We are very pleased with our choice of this hotel. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room overlooked the sea, which is very close by. The room was large and clean. Breakfast was very good, location also very good. We will definitely return and recommend it.

Breakfast is poor, food is almost gone and cold if you appear late for breakfast. And one more point: please be mindful if you book a triple room or any other room on the ground floor. The triple room is spacious, clean and nice but it’s located on the ground floor, very close to reception and the restaurant. You easily hear all the noise even at night and if you are a light sleeper, it disturbs you.

The hotel is new and very clean. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. The staff is polite and helpful. The hotel is very close to the beach, and has a private beach. Lots of nice restaurants and bars around.

1. The breakfast was below average. 2. Although the room was cleaned everyday but the cleaning standards were very low. A few times we put the towels on the floor and expected that we will get fresh towels but the staff folded those dirty towels and put them back!

The bathroom can get wet after shower due to half glass cabin which is not good and there could be clothes hanger.

The location is easy to find and close to the beach. It is great to have a parking area important! The staff are so helpful in any point. Breakfeast was well enough. We prefer to stay in future for longer dags there☺️

The staff are sooo nice and very helpful, the room is very clean and modern, breakfast is really tasty, the hotel is 1 minute from beach and you have your own umbrella, deck chair and hotel towels for free and also a bell if you want anything from restaurant/bar you just click on it. I really recommend this hotel everything was just perfect!

The accommodation exceed our expectations. The staff were extremely friendly and welcome, every single one of them. They did their best to make our stay as much as comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, especially their coffee! As well they let us stay the whole day at the beach on our check-out day. Thank you for your hospitality, if we ever come back to Durres, for sure will come back here.

The hotel is brand new and overall, we had a very positive experience. There was a small issue with the bathroom door not closing properly, but it was fixed immediately, so no real problem. Special thanks to the gentleman at the reception – he was incredibly helpful and friendly, assisting us with everything we needed. The rooms and common areas were spotless. The bathroom was well-equipped, and we had everything we needed. We also appreciated the beach towels provided. The beach is just a short walk away, which was perfect. Breakfast was good – we only stayed for two nights, so it’s hard to judge how it would be for a longer stay, but for a short trip it was just fine.

Cleaning staff tend to move and reorganize personal items. A takeaway breakfast was ordered, but the receptionist forgot to inform the kitchen.

The shower set up was well thought of. Water splashes everywhere on the floor. Probably need just a sliding door to limit it

Forget about how beautiful and clean the hotel is....trust me it is both. But what l loved about our stay was the exceptional service we got from the moment we got there just after midnight to when we left. These guys are good and l highly recommend booking this hotel. The beach is just 200 metres away and no need for towels, they provide you with some. Unfortunately l can't list all the good here but we are happy to have stayed at La Onda

The only thing worth mentioning is that the sunbeds are okay, but the umbrella doesn’t help much. It was so long and never blocked the sunlight.

Housekeeping did a very good job cleaning and providing toothbrushes & paste (which we had forgotten!), but then disposed of the toothbrushes after the first room cleaning. The next day, they left our room clean but without any toilet paper. The shower water spills onto the rest of the bathroom floor a bit. Room was spacious and nicely designed, but the sofa in the room was a bit stained. Breakfast should be kept colder.

Location was great, we were able to walk down the beach towards Golem easily (takes 45-60 min, lovely walk) and take a short taxi to Kallmi beach. Easy access to the beach and many lounge chair/umbrella options.

Unfortunately, in Albania, we have to talk about the issue of garbage on a regular basis. The beach in Durrës is a Armageddon for the discerning Baltic Sea vacationer, and even the diverse and friendly offerings on the beach can't make up for that. However, there are some decent and beautiful beaches in the Durrës area.

The hotel may not be the Walldorf Astoria NYC, but it has the best staff in the world. It starts with simple things like their basic friendliness, continues with the excellent breakfast service, and ends with special requests from guests like late checkout or laundry service. I have rarely experienced such accommodating hospitality. THANK YOU!
