Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PolandThe hotel itself should be destroyed and bulit from the scratch or at least renovated as it is very outdated. The light next to our bed was broken. I am usually not demanding and travel low cost but one thing I cannot stand is mould in the bathroom. It's dangerous to our health. The hotel doesn't seem to have a lot of clients (we were the only ones at the beginning of June) so it is not difficult to keep several rooms uo-to-date. During breakfast a cleaning lady started to vacum windows, tables and chairs which was very odd...
We've selected this place due to its location. Surroundings were so beautiful. Good breakfast and nice & friendly staff.

United KingdomPoor check in, we weren't shown to our room. Room was nice enough but a few things in the room were broken. No chairs to sit on balcony. Ran out of toilet paper. Flies in the restaurant with taxiderm animals which were old and falling apart. Breakfasts were nice. We left early as the food was the same and nowhere else to eat, and there are water snakes. Though they are quite shy, we didn't have a problem with them.
Stunning location, really beautiful. Views outstanding from room. Quiet and remote. No mosquitos. Lake water clear and refreshing to swim in. Beach quiet and comfortable.

GermanyDirty, filthy room. When you want to open the balcony door, the curtain hanger fell. They didn't maintain the building at all and looks like they only changed the bedsheets that's it. The staff is not friendly, I waited more than an hour to get a simple pasta, they served everyone came after me but I had to wait until everyone ate. My order was a simple butter cheese pasta, they didn't even bring cheese on it. The location is awesome, too bad that they don't maintain the hotel, don't clean it properly and they keep my id card during the checkin which is not a good way to handle -give us the money, take your id card back- style... Plus bed and pillows are nightmare.
