Loved that we were staying in the castle with some gorgeous views. The staff were super friendly

Loved everything, but be warned the drive could be tricky if you’re a little nervous.

KRIS guesthouse was a wonderful experience! The hosts were so friendly and kind. Breakfast was fantastic! The location is within the castle walls, which will delight kids especially. The rooms were very comfortable and immaculately clean. Our room even had brand new air-conditioner.

Beautiful place within the castle.

The location, the architecture of the guest house, the breakfast and the staff. The staff was excellent and they made our stay very comfortable. The location is right at the top of the castle so very easy access to the castle. A nice walk down to the main city but a good steep walk back. So pls bear that in mind. Taxis available to drop off.

The wasps around us. Nothing that could be avoided I think but they really made us uncomfortable. Also lack of air conditioning in the second room of the family room made it uncomfortable when the door between the 2 rooms were closed. Feedback was provided to the owner who gracefully acknowledged it.

Amazing location, in the middle of the castle. Cozy and charming house and rooms. A very kind family runs this place.

Great simple breakfast. Cozy atmosphere, location is within the berat castle grounds. Nice serene location. Parking available in front and also before entrance to castle. Parking at property would mean a drive through the narrow castle grounds.

Payment - only cash option. Narrow roads and google maps( have to use berat castle or will take you wrong path) has the roads wrong.

Great location and beautiful property. We really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely staff.

Super fun place to stay for a night or two up on the hill over Berat. Great to be up in the castle area in the early morning and late evening before & after the larger group of tourists are there. Beautiful views from the property patio. Solid breakfast in the morning enjoying the views & fresh air. Room is cozy & quiet in the old building making for a great night's sleep. Aircon kept it cool during the high heat when we stayed.

Internet was a bit weak in the room, but it's an old stone building so not too surprising. Worked well in the common areas. It is tricky to find if you don't read their messages (don't follow Google maps!).

Can't believe how good this was. The location as amazing, the host was amazing, thre building, the view, everything. Can't praise this enough, this is a must stay! Parking directly in front, the drive up is not hard, don't worry like I did. It is easy.

Loved our two night stay at Kris guesthouse. Aldi was a great host, and cooked a delicious breakfast. The guesthouse was lovely and quiet and we loved the location for being able to walk around the castle in the evenings when it had cooled down to watch the amazing sunset.

We stayed one night and the property is fantastic, right in the heart of Berat Castle. Once we worked out directions and got through the narrow lanes, it was a great stay.

Difficult to get to by car and beds were a little hard.
