How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewClean place, green surroundigs, very close to the beach, no rush hour, no trafic, slept like a baby... The houses are quite comfortable, new aircon, new fridge, new tv with wifi, musquito protection, free parking for the car. The staff is very friendly and very helpfull. No rush at the beach, free sunbeds, no need to make reservations, etc etc... nothing to worry about.
The breakfast can be improved, there is only one dish every day. There were musquitos, but we were prepared..

Verified reviewThe chalets were cooler although the weather was no more than 26 degrees. It was very quiet area and excellent holiday for families with children and elderly people.
Ideally for future reference, if the breakfast time can be an open buffet it will be much better.

Verified reviewThe host was very friendly and very helpful. The cottages are very nice, located in a quiet, wooded area. The breakfast was beautifully served and delicious. The accommodation was not far from the beach (about 250 meters), the sandy beach was also fine, and even offers free sunbeds and umbrellas. Private parking is available on site. WiFi was perfect. We asked a lot to heat up our meals, and it was a surprise for us to get a microwave. :-)
There were a lot of mosquitoes outside in the evening. But there weren't any in the house because we brought mosquito repellent. :-)

Verified reviewWe had a wonderful stay in our private cottage – everything was just perfect! Every morning, the staff brought us fresh coffee from the restaurant almost to our bed – we enjoyed it peacefully on the terrace. Such a lovely start to the day. The dinners were absolutely delicious – homemade, full of flavor, and made with love. There was a nice playground for the kids, which they loved, and the beach was very close – calm, clean, and not crowded. We also had our own sunbeds and umbrella on the beach, which made it even more comfortable. Peaceful atmosphere, friendly people, and everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back!
The stay was pleasant overall, but unfortunately, there were quite a few mosquitoes in the room, and we got bitten during the night. It would be great if the hotel could consider mosquito nets or some kind of repellent in the future.

Verified reviewThe service was absolutely great. The boys working at the location were reachable almost all the time, super nice, polite, helped us with everything. The food was really good!! The cabins themselves are also great, they are pretty new, spacious, the ACs work super well and the bedding was so soft and comfy!
It was a bit too expensive for my taste, but other than that no remarks.

Verified reviewWe had a fantastic time – the place is ideal and Albania as a country is absolutely beautiful. The beaches are stunning, perfect for children, and we enjoyed our stay without a single worry. The accommodation is beautiful, and the host is incredibly kind and welcoming. Everyone in the complex is wonderful. I honestly think this has been my best holiday so far. The prices are more than reasonable, and the beach is literally just one minute away, with sunbeds reserved for you. There’s also a nearby shop that accepts card payments, so you can easily stock up for your stay. Of course, there are some mosquitoes since there’s a lake nearby, but that’s completely natural – just bring mosquito repellent and you’re good to go. We are more than satisfied and will definitely always recommend this place as a true holiday for the soul.

Verified reviewGreat location, just a short walk from the beach. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that each house comes with its own set of sunbeds and an umbrella on the beach, all included in the accommodation price — a big plus that we really appreciated. Breakfast was also included and quite enjoyable. Each unit has two rooms, a bathroom, and a large, air-conditioned kitchen. Everything was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay!
Toilet paper seemed to be a rare commodity :) We had to ask for it daily, and each time we were given just one roll—which, unsurprisingly, was never quite enough.

Verified reviewI really liked the property — it was quiet, had plenty of space, and felt very cosy. It had a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made it feel like home.
The only downside was the presence of mosquitoes, mainly outside after dark, which made it a bit uncomfortable to enjoy the evenings.

No unpaid drinks for breakfast, lots of mosquitos in the evening and morning, luckily house has great nets in every window

We just wanted to state that for the price you were paying we didn’t find it reasonable to give free drinks in the morning for 4 adults because it does not suit our finances. Furthermore,we have mosquitoes in our area due to the fact that we are in the middle of the sea and Lake of Kune (which is a natural protected place by our government). Verified reviewWe were there during the off-season. During season the have a small coffee bar and food. But they did serve breakfast which was made fresh every morning. It was very good. The location was simple to find and secluded, which is what we needed to rest and enjoy our beach walks. The host was very helpful and greeted us every morning.
The cabin did not have a hot water heater for tea. Maybe it was because it was off season but it would have been nice to have tea in the evening.

Verified reviewThe chalet complex is well laid out around a central, garden where you can take breakfast or dinner. The beach is straight across the road and you have an umbrella and 2 sun loungers reserved as part of your We stayed 3 nights, had an excellent breakfast all 3 mornings with fresh OJ, they change up the breakfast food a bit we had Albanian pancakes, omlette, regular pancakes, cheeses, grapes, jam etc. really delicious. We had dinner one evening and would highly recommended the seafood linguine! Staff were really friendly and accommodating, they made our stay so pleasant.
It's clearly stated they accept cash only, but it would be great if they accepted card payment. They accepted a mix of euro and lek which was really helpful!

Verified reviewWhat a wonderful host and welcome. Leonardo was friendly from the moment we arrived until we left. The accommodation was amazing. We loved the cabin feel and how quiet it was. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was always smiling and willing to go the extra mile. Access to the beach was easy and a short walk. My children enjoyed having the ability to walk around and play on the play structures. We will definitely be coming back!!
I would just like to suggest maybe cut the grass a little and remove the weeds on the pathway.
