The fridge didn’t work brilliantly and the shower didn’t have a door/curtain (which seems to be common in Albania), and meant there was a lot of water all over the bathroom floor.

A nice hotel with a good sized pool and a good proximity to the beach. The room was spacious for a family of 4. The brothers on reception were lovely and very friendly.

Located at a 5 mins drive from Central Himare, the hotel has got all amenities you would need. George and his family are very helpful and run the hotel just like their home. Nice spacious and clean rooms. Close to a private beach which is very nice.

We spent a wonderful week at this hotel and had an amazing time. The whole family made us feel truly at home – always smiling, available, and willing to do everything to make our stay perfect. My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Karos Hotel. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, just like the rest of the hotel’s facilities, including the swimming pool. George and the entire staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The location was also perfect, with many beaches around Himarë just a short drive distance away, making it easy for us to explore the area!

It’s just a friendly suggestion to the owner: there’s nothing to dry swimsuits and towels.

We loved everything about this hotel! Free parking, big and clean rooms, comfortable beds, short walk to the nearest beach, but our kids enjoyed swimming pool of course! 😉 Also breakfast (upon request) was delicious. Himare is just a short drive from there.

We had a great stay! The accommodation was beautifully furnished and cleaned every two days. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms were well-equipped comfortable and spotless. Our kids loved the pool, which had a bar and ice cream available, perfect when they were thirsty or wanted a treat. As a family, we truly recommend this place. It's a really good stay and there was even the option to do laundry for a €5 fee.

The hotel was a little out of town. As the local beach was private, it wasn't the best location for us. This was our fault as we did not realise this when researching this place. We would've preferred somewhere within walking distance to some bars/restaurants.

Outside of the Himare, to reach the town only by car. Shower did not have doors (it supposed to have). Wifi is not good.

Excellent location, spotless rooms, and a fantastic pool! The location is very convenient — close to everything, yet peaceful and quiet. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool was absolutely wonderful — perfect for cooling off on a hot day. There's also a beautiful beach nearby, which you can reach on foot. From there, you can even discover a hidden gem — the secret beach. We really appreciated that the Karos Hotel is set slightly apart from the town center. It's quieter and more relaxing, away from the hustle and bustle, but Himarë is still just a few minutes away by car.

The shower door was broken and the sound proof is the not the best, we could hear the other guests and the sound of the cars passing by.

Location was Excellent, our room was super confy and had a sea view. George is super friendly and was always willing to help us. I would definitely come back.

The hotel has everything we needed. A bright, clean room, nice pool and available parking. The closest beach is just 10 minutes walk away. The manager was very friendly and polite. Breakfast was great too. We loved our stay.

That we couldn’t stay longer

What did we like most? George and Demetri! The hosts could not have been more friendly and kind! George gave us recommendations for restaurants and beach which we appreciated. You can tell there’s a lot of pride in this hotel. People were working all the time cleaning the common areas like lobby and pool. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The shower was modern and very relaxing after a long travel day. Parking was easy with a large lot just across the street. The hotel was lit up at night and really gave it a nice presence as we were approaching. Both mornings we had breakfast in their beautiful dining area. George kindly offered us his grandmother’s jam. We were there for two nights and really enjoyed our stay! Great value in Himare. Thank you George, Demetri and family!

The shower sprayed pretty wildly, but the bathroom was a wet room, so wasn't too much of a problem.

Super friendly - I was particularly impressed with the communication as I received a message the day before arrival to check everything was ok. Parking opposite the hotel was really practical. The rooms were comfortable and the staff were happy to provide blankets when asked. Breakfast included was a lovely touch.
