How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewWe absolutely loved this place. Was so nice to spend here one night after a busy and noisy couple of days in Sarande. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and wine was tasty 🍷 Our daughter loved seeing all the animals - sheeps, chickens, cats, dogs, even turtles 🩷
The matress was extremely soft on the main bed so was not that comfortable to sleep on.

Verified reviewNice staff, rural area, idyllic ambiente. The food served is traditional and very tasty. Traditional breakfast, easy checkout
Location is far away from civilization, so it should be a quiet place. But it was very loud during the night due to different reasons (dog barking, cock crowing, people chattering in the inner courtyard directly under rooms, etc...). The doors did not shield sufficiently.

Verified reviewOut of the way location with stunning mountains and vineyards all around. Bedrooms are done at a very high standard so are the bathrooms. We got welcomed with a glass of pomegranate juice which was a really nice touch. Free mineral water bottles and small bottle of their own wine in the bedroom. We had dinner and all the food came from the farm. Delicious.
In the morning breakfast was brought to our table with no comments from the staff or any alternative offered, you just had to eat what was given to you. This was odd. Quantity was ok for the females of the group but definitely not enough for the 2 men. We looked around to tell someone we were leaving in the morning but no one seemed interested to talk to us. The cleaning lady was already clearing out our room whilst we were loading our car. We returned to the bedrooms to use the bathrooms and check we had not left anything behind and she had cleared the sheets and towels out of the room ! We felt that they just wanted us gone . It was well before check out time. Be ready to hear the dogs barking late at night, the cockerel early in the morning.....

Verified reviewIt was the perfect closure to our Albanian roadtrip. We loved the calm and relaxing atmosphere, the view of the countryside and the mountains, the animals and the garden and delicious food with fresh ingredients. And the wine, of course :) The room was spacious, extra clean and the bed super comfy. Everyone was welcoming and kind. It is a little far away from the beautiful beaches further souththe coast, but close to the less known area of Okrum.

Verified reviewA truly experience of Albanian rural life. The setting is idyllic! Surrounded by vineyards! Waking up by distant ship bells and gentle chorus of crickets. The staff is so kind, warm and genuinely helpful. The food is homemade with own products. This is a family business and you can feel the energy of how much they enjoy what they do and the joy of sharing this beautiful experience of simple and amazing live. The room was spotless which for me is very important. Bed sheets perfectly ironed, towels crisp, white and fresh, exactly what you would expect at a high end hotel. They are doing everything right. We left with a heart full of joy and warmth and the hope to come back again! I wish them all the very best, they are a true example of how tourism should be done!

You get to stay on a working farm and observe the country way of life, surrounded by nature and animals (wild and not so wild!). Verified reviewCalm and chill place to stay Good food, nice staff
Not their fault, but there were tons of mosquitoes after sunset Impossible sit outside and chill because of that
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re really happy to hear you enjoyed the calm atmosphere, the food, and our family’s hospitality. 😊 Regarding the mosquitoes — we completely understand how frustrating that can be. Although it’s something that often comes with nature, please know that we do disinfect every week to help minimize the issue. We’re also looking into additional ways to improve the outdoor experience for our guests. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back again soon! There is not much to do on the farm itself, best to relax, enjoy good food and wine and maybe take a walk in the surrounding fields :) Also there are possibilities for hiking and going to the beach nearby

Verified reviewOut of our entire trip, Kantina & Ferma Dukat was by far our favorite place,it truly left us speechless and exceeded all our expectations. The setting they’ve created is simply wonderful, surrounded by greenery, vineyards, olive trees, and pomegranates. I absolutely love animals, so it was amazing to see the sheep up close, such a special touch, and also their little fluffy dog. The food was absolutely delicious, all made with fresh, genuine, zero-kilometre ingredients. Everything is prepared using their own produce, and we couldn’t resist buying some of their products, especially the olive oil and pomegranate liqueur. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, we truly felt embraced with warmth. The overall atmosphere was magical and unforgettable!
