Bathroom is a bit small but it is okay.

Great location close to the old town and castle with a 5-10 minute walk and a balcony with a castle view. The breakfast that you can additionally order was also very good and we got lots of good with it. The host was also really nice with recommendations and clear communucation.

Very comfy and clean little room located in the upper part of Gjirokastra. Host was very sweet and helped us park the car. The breakfast, made by her daughter, was the absolute best we had in our whole trip. The view is stunning!

The accommodation was cozy and clean. The beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, we only used the accommodation for one night.

The parking was quite challenging to manoeuvre due to being on a steep incline. The climb was also a challenge when we came back at the end of the day - the town is very steep and the apartment is very high above the main bazaar area.

The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. There was a balcony with an amazing view over the castle! Adela was a lovely welcoming hostess.

The location couldn't be better, the views from the balcony over Gjirokaster are stunning. The room is very nice and cozy. The hosts are very welcoming too, I totally recommend staying here, it makes the stay in such a beautiful city even better.

Very cosy and comfortable rooms. We really liked our balcony where you have a great view to the castle and being a bit remote but still close to everything the city has to offer. Also the host was amazing, got a lot of help with the local transport (as it is not that easy to understand in Albania). Thanks again for everything!

The place is in a great location, near the centre and easy to find. The owner is really kind and helpful, assisted us with finding the common attractions and suggesting beautiful spots of the town. Gjirokastra has some beautiful scenery so we were able to catch them. The room was clean and fits the price, perfect for two persons.

I can repeat again and again that Adela is fantastic. 🥰 Every time we visit Gjirokaster, her patience to explain and help with everything she can and all the information she knows is totally indescribable. She's the most lovely host we've ever known.

Room is simple, just a bed and a TV. I'm not sure it's written anywhere, but the place doesn't accommodate children.

The location was great, on top of the hill with the view of the city. There was a parking spot for us. Internet was good for working remotely

We stayed in the smaller room, good for a couple nights but would need more space for a longer stay. It was on a steep hill but WE DID IT!

Kale Guesthouse was clean and comfortable! Comfortable bed, pristine white towels, body wash and shampoo provided. Good lighting and wifi, the host was a gem!

Nothing. It was perfect.

We booked the Double Room with Garden View for 2 nights in Gjirokastër. The room felt exclusive and secluded with private entrance, and a lovely balcony. It was cosy with an attic feeling and extremely clean all round. The host, the daughter of the house, was so kind, resourceful, helpful, a source of great knowledge and speak very good English. We listened to her recommendations about Gjirokaster and the rest of Albania and we are certainly not disappointed. The location was very quiet but very handy to access central old Gjirokaster just a few minutes walk away . Thank you so much for the hospitality.

The best choice in Gjirokaster: reachable by car, with great views from the balcony over the castle and the city, super welcoming staff. The room was spotlessly clean, nicely designed, the AC worked well You can order breakfast on site or enjoy a beer on the balcony listening to live music from a restaurant nearby. One of the best stays during our 14 days trip to Albania, highly recommended.

The guesthouse is very beautiful in a great location. Adela is a wonderful host, replies fast and will help you with everything. Breakfast is available for €7 per person which we thought was great. The room was very comfortable and modern, the balcony was beautiful, the airconditioning worked well and the shower pressure was great.
