We had a fantastic experience at Guesthouse Niko. The location is great, just a 10-minute walk from the old town, making it easy to explore Berat. We also appreciated the secured parking, which was perfect for our trip. The rooms are big, with comfortable beds and very clean. Breakfast was a real treat, with freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade butter, and delicious jam. The family who runs the guesthouse is honest, friendly, and made us feel right at home. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Guesthouse Niko to anyone visiting Berat!

Nothing, everything was perfect!

Niko welcomed us in his guesthouse warmly offering us a juice made by him with the fruits of his trees. The breakfast he prepared us was delicious and plentiful as a "brunch", with fresh products and two types of delicious jam prepared by himself! The room is very clean and spacious, in less than 5 minutes walk from the center of Berat. Our stay lasted too little unfortunately. Thank you very much Niko for your hospitality, it was like being at home, even better!

This guesthouse is a little gem in Berat. Nico is the most lovable and friendly host we had during our 2 weeks in Albania. He will go out of his way to make you feel at home. A marvellous fella for whom everything is "no problem". Thank you Nico.

Guesthouse Niko is perfect accommodation to stay in Berat. The room we got was spacious and well equipped, the bed was large and really comfortable. Secure parking in the backyard / garden, that is also used as a camping place. The Guesthouse is situated on the main street (although quiet in the night), appr. 20 minutes' walk far from Berat city center and main attractions. Niko was perfect host! Very helpful, hospitable and caring. He even prepared us very tasty breakfast next morning, what we haven't expected at all. Fully recommend! If we ever come back to Berat, we would definitely choose Guesthouse Niko again.

Only that the bed could be a little softer, and some spare pillows would be nice

Lovely room with modern facilities. The staff were very helpful, I had a problem with my car and they tried to help me. The breakfast is varied and plentiful. There is secure free off road parking.

Fantastic experience, ideally located a 10 minute walk from the centre of town, private parking and clean comfy rooms. But the BEST part is the hosts. Niko and his wife, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and the breakfast was huge. We decided to stay Berat an extra night but he was fully booked but offered to call other guest houses for us and even said if next place we find don’t have parking, we can leave car at his.

Breakfast was lovely, but a little lacking in coffee. Although we never asked but due to the language barrier we thought it was easier just to pop into one of the many nearby places on our way into Barat.

A lovely place to stay. Very clean. Close walking distance to Barat. Family run, the owners were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. After the first 2 nights they upgraded our room to a more modern decorated room. Good place for parking. Lovely breakfast. A simple but very reasonably priced place to stay. Would definitely recommend. Unlike other places we stayed we could charge phones while we were not in the room.

The room was very clean and big. Niko our host was really nice and helpful. He made us breakfast every morning with home made marmelade, bread, eggs and fresh orange juice. On out last morning he also cut up some fresh melon. :) We would totally recommend to stay here when visiting Berat!
