Everything was absolutely amazing. The place was easy to find and our host was waiting for us when we got there. She gave us a really warm welcome and we felt blessed to have been able to stay at this guest house. The breakfast in the morning was amazing!!!

The toilet was downstairs, but it really wasn’t a problem for us.

The owner was wonderful — she thought of everything and had everything ready for our arrival. She welcomed us with cold water, dessert, and freshly washed seasonal fruits. The room was clean, cozy, and even had a small terrace with a lovely view. Breakfast was generous and delicious — we truly felt at home and treated like queens!

Imagine having a sweet albanian aunt and getting to stay in her nicest room with a view over the river and bridge. And the next morning she makes you a great and elaborate breakfast. Not a hotel experience, something nicer.

It felt a bit like the owners, a friendly elderly couple, was a little too present. Like if they were checking on us. That's the only thing I must "criticise".

Great communication from the start. Great location in the center of town. Perfect instructions to find the place. Easy payment. Nice large room. The decoration is rustic but what a view and many windows! Very clean. Very good breakfast. Their spinach burek was the best one ever!!! Very good quality price!

We have nothing to complain about! But it’s worth being aware of that since this is a very old house, there is just one bathroom shared by the two rooms that the property consists of, and it’s downstairs.

Super central location in old town, lovely hosts, wonderful homemade breakfast. The balcony from our room had a great view.

Nicest people we met on our holiday. On arrival we received a plate of cake and fruit, and received the most amazing cooked breakfast each morning. Would 100% recommend staying here on your trip to Berat.

The was a club night in the more modern part of town which was noisy til midnight, I put in ear plugs though so no problem, and absolutely nothing to do with the accom, just a thing of Berat I guess.

(stay in April) This place is out of this world!!! The view from the balcony is amazing, the host is fabulous - constant snacks and drinks! - the breakfast was delicious and the beds really comfortable! It's one of the house of the Unesco 1000 windows - you can buy a postcard of where you stay, amazing!! It's an old traditional house so lots of stairs, and the extremely clean bathroom is downstairs.

Amazing place to stay in the heart of the old town. Amazing view from the room The hosts are such nice friendly people, and cooked us a great breakfast which set us up for the day. It's very comfortable, and nice and quiet in the evening. Berat is a beautiful place, and I recommend guest house Mikel 100% We would definitely stay again. Everything was great

We loved staying here in this very traditional house. The little balcony is a bonus along with the main room being very large with amazing views. Mikel and Georgia are the most wonderful hosts. I think it’s worth staying here for her amazing breakfast (the best in Albania we think) and the great location with the outside lane made so beautiful with Mikel’s flower garden. You will not be disappointed. Fantastic value for money. I hope someday I can come back and stay again. Thank you for making our stay so special.

Recommendation: Make sure to bring earplugs for a better sleep, as it might be noisy from the street below in the morning (but for us this was no problem) :)

The guesthouse is located in the most beautiful alley in berat. The Lady who runs the guesthouse is a lovely and sensitive person, who offers an excellent service and a rich and homemade breakfast (the best we had during our whole trip!). The ancient builing and rooms in the appartment are like a timetravel, what lifts the whole berat experience a level up. The rooms are lovely decorated with an eye to details, beds super comfortable (also the best we had). We would definetifely come again. Well earned 10/10 points for this cozy homestay.

If you stay in the old neighborhoods in Berat, we do not recommend heavy suitcases.

The room was spacious and the views are amazing. The best host you can find in Berat, very hospitable, attentive and a good cook. The breakfast was incredible. We are very happy of having chosen this house for our stay in Berat.

Everything was great. The place is very good and the view is marvelous. The old couple who lives in the house is very friendly, even though they don't speak English, was ok to communicate, I think is their daughter who talks on WhatsApp when is necessary. The breakfast was really good too. The location is perfect, need to climb a bit but is the old town, is worth it for the view. We stayed in the main room, with a big double bed, which is very spacious and comfortable. Also is a great spot for Instagram pics, I know you guys will love that, let me share some so you can check ;)

It is a very nice guesthouse! We got directions/pictures on how to get there via WhatsApp right after booking which made things so much easier! The guesthouse is nestled into the hill and provides an exceptional view! The breakfast was super nice too! One thing worth knowing is that the way up to the house is a bit rocky (but the great view is worth it). So if you have the chance to leave unnecessary items in your car I would recommend doing that. We definitely would come back!

I booked the place because it was supposed to have parking. What I learnt is, you have to find a spot on the main road which is already very busy and hard to get after a certain time. The place is not easy to find and needs more signage on the path. If you don't like climbing a lot of stairs then you should consider alternative accommodation.

Great location and the host was very hospitable. Breakfast was awesome as many others have said.
