If you wanna experience a place that feels like an Albanian’s grandma’s house, I would highly recommend to stay at Luli’s. The accommodation is beautiful, comfortable and brand new. There is an AC - which is really needed during summer time. Luli has a beautiful garden with fruits, cats and turtles, which you can enjoy while having a lovely breakfast! The only thing is that the house is about 30’ walk from Berat, so if you don’t have a car, will need to take the bus (bus station is just beside the house) or face the walk, which can be a bit challenging during summer time. From the bus station - where you will arrive in Berat - you take the local bus until the last stop and you will be 5’ away from Luli’s house. The local bus costs only 30 lek We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back! Falemenderit Luli!

The location is a bit far from the city center, so you’ll need a car or bus to get there. Also, our bathroom didn’t have a shower curtain, which made things a bit inconvenient.

Lovely accommodation just 2 km from the center of Berat, located on a quiet street—so you’ll get a good night’s sleep and easy parking. The rooms are small, but perfectly sufficient for a short stay. The host was very kind and welcoming, and she prepared a traditional Albanian breakfast for us, which we really appreciated.

I really loved my stay here. Everything was very charming and cozy. The location is super quiet — in the late evenings and at night it was so peaceful, and I really enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace every evening. The bed was incredibly comfortable — I slept like a baby. Everything was very clean. And the host lady is such a wonderful person, so kind and sweet. Her breakfasts were absolutely perfect — real homemade breakfasts with lots of variety. It honestly felt like visiting my grandmother for a little peaceful getaway.

Guest house Luli Strumi is a charming little place, super clean, with a beautiful garden a bit outside of the center. Our host was a very friendly lady, we had a great stay in Berat.

Everything was wonderful. We stayed for two days the lady that was the owner was so nice and super sweet, she was taking care of us during the entire duration. When we got there she gave us some refreshments and also during the day she was asking if we needed anything or something to eat. We were mostly on the move due to work and my only doubt was the location but it was fine and doable only 20 minutes or less by foot and if you take the bus 5 minutes. The room was spacious enough and well decorated, everything was spotless. If you want to enjoy true Albanian hospitality and feel at home this is the place for you.

There was nothing we didn’t like it was perfect!

The host was so welcoming and lovely! She bought us coffee and breakfast which was delicious! The accommodation had everything we needed and the bed was super comfy. The garden was beautiful and very peaceful to sit in while having breakfast. The walk into the old town didn’t take long either! 10/10 would come back.

Everything was perfect.

The stay was amazing, everyhing was perfect!! Luli took care every single detail, she was very attentive (the best hostess ever) and even the we didnt have a language in common, we managed to communicate just fine. Breakfast was amazing, best I ever had in a stay! We didnt have the chance to say goobye to her because we left very early, still…Thank you for everything, we love you! We have worked a couple of days and the wifi perfec! A recommendation for future guests: If you arrive to Berat by bus and don't plan to Rent a car: Just take the City bus outside the bus station its 30 Leke and get off at the last stop (terminal) (the whole trip is about 25 min), the guest house is right there 😉

This b & b is easy to find. It is exactly where google maps claims it is. We arrive two hours earlier we had estimated, but our hostess showed immediately up to the gate to meet us. She served us coffee and raki for my husband. Her English was quite restricted but we managed to understood each other. Our room was tiny and inexpensive, but the breakfast we got every morning was huge. We got coffee, milk, different cheeses. olives, eggs and whatever our hostess chose to bring us that morning. One afternoon we came from Ossum Canyon and our hostess asked if we were hungry? When she brought us spaghetti in tomato sauce, we began to thing we were getting more we had paid for. We couldn't be more satisfied.

We had a lovely stay at this Guesthouse. The host family was absolutely lovely to us. The rooms were great, breakfast was very filling and tasty. It’s a little bit more on the outside of Berat (5min by car), but we preferred this for easy access to street parking and a calm surrounding. The garden is great to sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee. We would recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely perfect accommodation. We stayed for one night during our trip, but we could easily have spent a week here. When we arrived, we were given orange juice. The host lady was absolutely amazing, she took care of us like family. She brought us a really great breakfast. There are very friendly cats running around the garden. We are leaving really happy.
