How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Faleminderit Dibran je i mirepritur gjithmon tek ne. Faleminderit

Verified reviewI stayed at Luisa Guest House with my daughter for one week in July 2025. We liked and enjoyed everything during our stay there. the location is just perfect a short walk from the beach. You just have to walk down where the shops and restaurants are , cross the main road and you are on the beach. The place is family run with the two ladies working in the kitchen and Klejdi serving the guests and dealing with any questions or queries they might have. The location is just perfect beautiful, apartments surrounded by lemon trees and a water stream coming from the mountain. Apartments were quiet, cleaned, well maintained and with AC. The food was very good although I must confess we didn't eat there everyday as we were exploring the area after returning from the beach. For the occasions when we dined there it was delicious and freshly made. Service was fantastic. If you want to try local dishes you need to order in advance so they can have enough time to prepare it for you. There is also a car park with plenty of space in the middle of the trees. What makes this place exceptional is that you can always approach Klejdi and he will always try his best to offer a solution to any situation. Overall we had the best time at Luisa Guesthouse and I'll definitely return.
Nothing to dislike. Everything was very good.

Verified reviewWe stayed at Guest House Luiza for 3 nights and booked 2 rooms — and honestly, everything exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness. The owners greeted us with a delicious homemade lemonade and invited us to relax and catch our breath before even starting the check-in. It was such a thoughtful gesture and instantly made us feel at home. The rooms were spotlessly clean, cozy, and comfortable — clearly maintained with care. The food was absolutely outstanding: all homemade by the owners, full of flavor, and served with love. Every meal felt like it came straight from a family kitchen. But what truly sets Guest House Luiza apart is the hospitality. The owners are some of the kindest people we’ve ever met — generous, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making your stay unforgettable. It felt less like a hotel visit and more like staying with old friends. If you’re looking for a peaceful, clean, and heartwarming place to stay — whether you’re traveling with family, as a couple, or even solo — I couldn’t recommend Guest House Luiza more. We left with full hearts (and stomachs!) and can’t wait to return.
Xhesika thank your very much <3 , you are always welcomed here.

Verified reviewThe welcome was very nice and friendly, the food was delicious. Close to the beach. It has its own parking lot. Everything is available at the accommodation, you really only have to go a little further to get to the beach. The view from the upper floor is really coastal.
The walls are very thin, all sounds filter through; in the apartment below us there was a family with many children who were very loud late at night.

Verified reviewGreat place, we enjoyed our stay at Luiza's guesthouse. The wi-fi was great, our room was a bit to the side so it was quieter than the rooms looking above the garden. We arrived very late at night but we were warmly welcomed despite the late hour. We liked the garden the most - it was spacious, very well taken care of and provided shade for the hot afternoon hours. We would chill in the garden or check our e-mails in the shade. There was also a restaurant with home-cooked meals on spot. It was delicious, and we got to try some Albanian cuisine with home-grown vegetables.
We stayed for 4 nights, and the room was not cleaned once during our stay. The bathroom became a little bit of a mess as the shower was not completely separated from the rest, and it got very wet but there was no mop to clean up/dry the water. The shower was also only the head shower version with no handle to offer some flexibility.

Verified reviewEverything was extra. The hosts are exceptional in every way. Always ready for any kind of help. Friendly, warm and very accommodating. The food in the facility is very tasty at very reasonable prices. For example, lunch with local specialties (lamb in yogurt) around €7. The menu has a wide selection of food, and it is possible to prepare dishes according to your own order. The beach is beautiful with rounded pebbles and the sea is clean. The only complaint is that the promenade along the beach is partially landscaped, so there is too much dust. It will probably be fixed in the future.
City landscaping, too much dust on the sidewalk.

Verified reviewA true oasis amidst a bustling village of hotels. This hidden gem offers a serene escape, where the warmth and genuine hospitality of the staff instantly make you feel at home. The cuisine is a celebration of local flavors—fresh, farm-to-table, and lovingly prepared. Simple yet incredibly delicious. It’s an ideal retreat for families, with a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that invites you to slow down and savor the moment. Here, time seems to pause—there’s nowhere to rush, only the joy of being present.
Thank you Martyna so much <3 . It was a pleasure to meet you and your family.

Verified reviewI recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely guest house, and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home with their warm and welcoming demeanor. The room was spotless, cozy, and equipped with all the essentials, making it the perfect stay after a day of exploring. They also have a little outdoor restaurant on site. I was surprised by the quality and flavor of the dishes. Each meal was prepared with fresh ingredients. AND EVERYTHING WAS SO DELICIOUS!

Verified reviewThis place is truly special — peaceful, beautiful, and unlike any of the beachside hotels in the area. You can really feel the love for nature and gardening here, which makes the whole place feel warm and alive. The hospitality was outstanding, and the hosts made us feel genuinely welcome from the very first moment. The sea view is stunning, and the homegrown produce and excellent cooking make the stay even more unique. It’s also an ideal place for families, as the setting is very idyllic and far from traffic and noise — a real haven of tranquility.

Verified reviewWe loved staying at Guesthouse Luiza for our family vacation in October (6 nights) - it was the highlight of our Albania trip! Luiza and her sisters made us feel very welcome, they are so nice and always made time for everything we needed and for a chat. They are very dedicated and we loved their home-cooked hearty meals so much, that we ended up eating every meal there for the week. The beautiful garden was perfect for our 3 year old who loves to run around and for our 12-year old who loved to read in a quiet corner of the garden. During our stay the oranges, grapes, olives and pomegranates in the garden were being harvested - so delicious!. We were allowed to move to another apartment downstairs, after already checking in to an upstairs one (very nice - great view), but downstairs was way more convenient for the small (active) child. Just an example how Luiza and her sisters made sure all our wishes were fulfilled. The beach is very close, just a 1-2 minute walk away. Almost all other touristic places were closed at the end of October (2 small supermarkets in walking distance still open), so we were lucky with great sunny weather and a very quiet surrounding. Since the mountains are very close, we had great hikes around Borsh, Qeparo Fshat and in the Shushica-Valley (now accessible via a new paved road). So the location is not only great for beach days, but also great for hiking and exploring the southern Riviera, we did several different day trips from there. We hope to come back one day and can fully recommend staying there!
