Lovely guest house with everything you need, its very cozy, clean and the staff is extremely nice and hepful. The breakfast was home made and delicious, probably the best one we had in Albania. The view from the terrace is amazing.

We love this place so much! Wonderful, friendly family who made us feel very welcome and at home. AMAZING traditional food. Super comfortable and beautiful rooms with hand carved wooden features. We liked that it was a little way above the main town because it was very chilled out and quiet with an unobstructed, incredible view of the mountains and castle. Girokaster was a nice town but the Hasko family and their lovely home made it really special. We hope to come back again soon!

Google maps took us to the wrong address which involved some skilled driving to extricate us from. It’s a steep walk down and up to town if you decide not to drive.

The family who run this are friendly and helpful. It’s a great pleasure to sit on their terrace in the cooler air looking down on the town while eating their home cooked food.

"Felt like home, even for just one night!" I only stayed one night at Guest House Hasko, but it was such a great experience. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind — they made me feel at home right away. The room was super clean and comfortable, and the morning view was beautiful. Breakfast was homemade and really tasty — a perfect way to start the day. Even though it was a short stay, it left a big impression. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in Gjirokastër again. Highly recommend this place!.

The property is located in a very peaceful area overlooking the old town, and the view from the terrace is absolutely breathtaking. The room is decorated in a charming traditional style, featuring a beautifully carved wooden ceiling—truly special. Lori and her husband were incredibly friendly and helpful. Lori even prepared a delicious dinner for us, which we enjoyed on the terrace while taking in the stunning view. Thank you for everything!

We experienced noise in the night from music being played in the town - though it was Saturday evening - and dogs barking.

We loved the location, up in the hills, with amazing views. We had the warmest welcome from many generations of the family and they were very keen to make our stay as comfortable as they could. Very kind and lovely people, even taking us to our bus on departure. The rooms were traditional and really nicely appointed, with excellent en suite facilities.

We had everything we needed. There was a clean room, hot water in the bathroom and AC to make the temp a little bit higher in April. Smart tv with wifi access for kids. The location is a plus (all drivers with driving license should be able to get there) as this is not the city center and gives you perfect view all day long. Great breakfast and whole family really engaged to the business. We are happy we could be there.

Steep roads but worth it.

Everything, the service, was the best we have experienced. Such wonderful hosts who were so helpful and accommodating. A real family business that takes hospitality to the next level. Recommend eating at the hosts house, food was delicious, fabulous cook. The room was gorgeous and clean. Wished we had stayed longer. Breath raking views of the mountains and castle.
