How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Very friendly hosts. And a nice new and clean guesthouse apartment. The breakfast buffet had quite a lot of choice. Unfortunately they could not offer dinner due to the electricity being down. However they send us to nice restaurant in the neighbourhood. Nice view on the mountains from the room.

Good location near the town and the end of the trail from Valbone. Room basic but had everything we needed and the owners were very friendly. A good breakfast is included.

Lovely place with a great view of the mountains. Host was super friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed and good start location for the Valbona pass. Big portions for breakfast and packed lunch -didn't try the dinner

Excellent choice for a one night stand in Thet. The owners were friendly and kind and all the facilities were as promised. The place is close to village center and easily accessible.

Our room was nice, and the bathroom and shower were great. It is conveniently located, and the staff spoke excellent English and was very nice. Breakfast was delicious.

Not a luxury place – but that’s not what we were looking for. Our experience exceeded all expectations!
One of the highlights of our trip! The hosts were incredibly kind – we truly felt like part of the family. We had a delicious and affordable dinner on-site, shared birthday cake with another group, and got great hiking tips. Breakfast was also very tasty.

The accommodation was very well placed in Theth. In the centre but on a quiet side road. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They do a 3 course menu for 15 euros which was filling and tasty.

The room was very clean and cozy. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were very accommodating to our needs. Walking distance for everywhere in Theth and parking was fine.

Perfect location if you are coming for hiking or outdoor activities. The only downside is the room comfort (small beds for tall people) and temperature (no AC).

A little fridge in the room would have been great to keep drinks cold.
Very down to earth and homely place to stay. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to help. The food was amazing - way too much for one so consider sharing unless you have a massive appetite.

It was a friendly and accommodative vibes and faced such a beautiful backdrop of the mountains. Food was amazing, 10/10 would recommend. All the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special.

The room is getting a little run down, but they are doing renovations and once these are done it will be spectacular property.
The owners were extremely nice people and were very knowledgeable about the area and telling us about the best hikes to do. Our view from our outdoor deck was beautiful.

Great location near bus stop to get to the blue eye and buses for Shkoder. The breakfast is basic but filling. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The guest house is centrally located on the main path for the hike to the blue eye. We enjoyed our stay here

No aircon in the room, but honestly we didn't need it.
The rooms are comfortable, all the hiking trails are just nearby. The views are panoramic no matter where you are. It's a stunning property and location. The meals available at the property (at a very afford price) were delicious. The owners were always about if we needed anything.

This was the best food we had on our Peaks of the Balkans trek on a nice patio. Host was extremely kind and sincere. He helped arrange our taxi service as well as bringing us a clothing rack to dry our gear, very accommodating. Highly recommend for a stay in Theth.

Beautiful place, extremly kind service and staff. We used the offer of menu dinner, it was realy delicious. Bathroom comfortable, with nice view to mountains. Window from the room to the gardern.
