The treatment of the staff. The guy who served us was a bit rude and not very hospitable. In addition, we had to pay attention to the exchange rate when paying, as they did not accept credit cards and insisted that we pay in euros to give us lekes, a common scam in the country.

Parking was somewhat challenging on the street. A bit noisy with the bar / restaurant downstairs.

The location was really good, close to everything. There were some basic kitchen supplies so we could make breakfast. The air-conditioning was good and the room basic but comfortable.

We got the room a bit late as the previous guests checked out late and cleaning needed a bit more time. Kitchen utensils looked very old and rusted

Nothing, we loved our stay & wanted to stay for longer but it was booked.

Location is amazing, staff were friendly & check in was easy. Room was comfortable, we had towels, a balcony & a small kitchen area. It was great value & right in the centre of Berat.

The bed wasn’t overly comfortable but at this price it is to be expected. We were here in December and although the bedroom has a good heater and warm blankets, there is no heat in the kitchen or bathroom.

Location and price are excellent. The apartment is very clean and right below the castle. Hosts were quick to reply to inquiries. Having a kitchen is always a nice feature.

In the winter, the air conditioning could take quite a while to heat up the room. To be warm you'd have to wear an extra jacket to sleep.

Nice and simple guesthouse. It's small, on top of a restaurant, but sparkling clean and very simple. The location is very central and easy to find. Great value for the price.

Obviously the bathroom was a wet room style but that was expected as pretty much all Albanian bathrooms are the same. It was fine enough and plenty of room in there

One of the cutest little places I’ve ever stayed, and at such an affordable price. It was everything it was advertised to be and don’t even get me started on the restaurant that it was built above. The food was absolutely amazing! And the staff were super welcoming and sweet and helped us with any questions we had.
