It was fine. I realise that having tea and coffee in the room is not standard here in Albania: there was a kettle but no milk, teabags etc.

So very clean! It’s the first place we stayed in Albania and we arrived late at night. It was lovely to find such a big and comfortable room. The breakfast terrace is lovely. There’s a very sweet and well loved cat called bee-gee and the staff are attentive and smiley

Staff were friendly, the room was spacious and clean. There is parking on site. The hotel is a 40-45 minute walk to centre of the city (Skanderberg square). The hotel is close to shops and restaurants. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the centre of Tirana along the river. The team was very friendly, and our room was huge, perfect for our family of four with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the large balcony, which was nice for relaxing. There was parking available on the road outside, and the breakfast was pleasant and satisfying. The hotel had a relaxed atmosphere, and it was easy to drive from the airport, visit Mount Dajti, and continue on to our next stop. Supermarkets and fast food options were conveniently close at the end of the street.

Just a minor issue in the shower area, the drainage is not quite adequate (maybe not previously reported!). The water keeps gathering on the floor and despite the approx. one inch raised threshold, if your shower takes too long it might overflow.

Excellent tourist friendly staff. Receptionist (Martin) took care of everything. He helped me find a spot for my car when I arrived. The car parking is on the street, on spaces that are reserved by the hotel. Breakfast was good variety, and the lady taking care of the breakfast area was amiable and spoke good English too. I found the place to be clean, quiet and well maintained. The location is a bit further away from Scanderbeg Plaza, about 40 min walk, but manageable if you don’t mind walking (or you can take a cab). There is a supermarket conveniently located at the corner of the street.

hotel entrance stays locked at night and we felt bad waking up the staff on night shift to let us in as we sometimes stayed out til quite late :(

Very nice hotel & friendly staff. The whole hotel area is very clean. We have had a family room, with terrace (room 203). The spacious room was very clean, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Completed with a nice bathroom and balcony where you can relax. The direct surrounding of the hotel is maybe not that interesting, but therefore more quit. You are on walking distance of the busy city center. I wouldn't be writing this review properly if I didn't mention the extremely friendly and helpful staff. They are relaxed, happy and very helpfull. The breakfast is also good. And just next to the hotel there is a nice terrace where you can have a drink and relax outside (this is part of the hotel). So for price / quality rating, I am giving this hotel a five star review.

The sofa bed was a little hard but fine if it’s for a child.

I booked this hotel last minute as our other accommodation cancelled us just before our arrival. I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We received such a warm welcome. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They spoke perfect English which was very helpful. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. The bed was very big and comfortable. Excellent stay.

All was fantastic . The only thing the room could use - a mirror outside of the bathroom for us girls to put makeup on without hogging the bathroom !!

Loved staying here ! The best sleep! Awesome bedding ( best pillows ever !!!:-) ) fantastic yummy breakfast , easy walk to the center ( about 30 min) Great a/c. But the best part is Rea and Marton - so friendly , helpful, kind and all around sweet couple ! Perfect free parking right in front also !!

The price on booking.com said £46 however it was £87 in the end as you have to pay at the hotel and not in advance online. Was disappointed with this.

The room was excellent, it was big, smart and cool and the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. In fact the lady on reception was the nicest we met in the whole of our week in Albania.

Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommend! Our experience at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! We loved our stay at this hotel - the owners are super friendly and helpful, they helped organise a taxi for us to Mt Gamti and hosed our rental car down before we returned it, exceptional hospitality! We had a wonderful family stay at FM2 Hotel for a few nights. We booked two rooms — one standard double room and one quadruple room — both were very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is perfect, everything we needed was nearby, and the area felt safe and convenient for walking. The family running the hotel was extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay — their hospitality truly made us feel at home. There’s also a lovely café next to the hotel which added a nice touch to our mornings. We really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend FM2 Hotel to families looking for a warm and comfortable stay in Tirana. Thank you for everything!!
