How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

- there’s no AC in bedroom and it was very hot, the air conditioner was only in living room
Very kind owner, let us check in earlier. The apartment was clean and comfortable, good location close to the beach Breakfast was delicious! Parking is available just outside the apartment.

Far from the city centre.
Modern, stylish, clean, you have everything you need (towels, soap, slippers...). The area is quite and peaceful. Very close to the local taverna Arial, which has excellent food. Very close to the beach.

The appartment was wonderful and had a nice garden and a very good parking. There is a excellant and cheap traditional restaurant just across street.

The water pressure in the shower was low. There was loud and annoying music from the neighbouring house which woke us up in the morning. But if you keep the windows closed, it isolates the sound pretty OK.
The building is new, hence very clean with minimalistic and neutral design.

Very nice apartment close to the beach! The apartment is exactly as described. If you are looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay close to the beach and with nice seafood restaurants around this is the place.

location is where the beach is not kept well and you need to drive to the other side of the town to be able to enjoy the time either on the beach or walking the promenade as well as the restaurant

Was a fantastic experience booking this property and I do not regret it. I stayed at this property for two nights and it was amazingly beautiful. First of all, it is new, the bathroom was absolutely stunning and clean. The bed was comfortable and sheets were spotless. I requested for a single room with a couch in it and the host was swift to provide me with one. The hosts of this property are the best people you would ever meet. I fell in love with them because of their hospitality. They were always ready and swift to provide you with whatever you needed, also they let me have a late check out. They are absolutely the most wonderful hosts I have ever met. I would recommend this property a hundred percent if you’re in Vlora and looking for a comfortable and quiet place to stay. I also tried the restaurant at the property and I must say that the food was very tasty and delicious. Also the beach is 3mins walk from the property. I hope to visit Vlora and stay at this property again!

We had a real good stay — our first night in Albania was short but absolutely wonderful, and it left us with the best first impression! A heartfelt thank you to Lolla for her warm welcome and kindness, and to Erti for his time, availability, and generous help. We felt right at home and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to come back or recommend this place to our friends and family . Everything was perfect: the apartment was spotless, very comfortable, and well-equipped. We also appreciated the private parking space inside the property — such a great bonus! The location is ideal, close to all the essentials, the city center, and the port. We wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Vlorë. Thank you again for everything — hope to see you again soon!

Lovely place in a great location, near to the beach. The bed was comfortable. The host was nice and helpful, quickly answered everything. The breakfast was amazing - delicious and fresh. The only issue was with the bathroom, the water from the shower spread easily across the floor, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, still a very enjoyable stay.

Free parking inside the Villa, the host waited for us at the doorstep. Amazing sunrise view in the morning! Would highly recommend for any season!! Would definitely book again
