How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe location was amazing - right on lavadhi Beach - crystal clear water The restaurant attached to the hotel was very good and reasonably priced. Many people from other hotels came to eat here. Hotel room was big and comfortable and very nicely decorated - chilled vibe. Reception staff very helpful. Sunbeds and umbrella on beach provided - one set per room. Nice coffee pod machine in the room. Mini fridge to keep your drinks in.
Breakfast was OK - totally fine but could be better, especially as the restaurant is very good. Hotel was great and we would recommend it to anyone! At the end of the day, it's a 2 star hotel but would easily pass as 3 star minimum

however,since i had forgotten to add the children to the reservation, the lady to reception charged me an extra 30 euros for mu 3-year-old son but still kept us in the same room. The room was very small. the bathroom had no ventilation and there was a bad smell. Breakfast was served in the restaurant outside, where flies ere gathering on the food,i even saw a staff member sraying isecticide on the floor during the breakfast, which seemed very dangerous for children who could easly get poisoned. it was very expensive for what it offered. on the day we left, the receptionist did not even ask how our stay was.

We would like to clarify some important details regarding your reservation .The booking was originally made only for 2 adults, with no children included. One day before arrival, you contacted us to request a baby cot for your daughter, which we immediately prepared for you free of charge. However, upon check-in, you arrived with two children, something that had not been communicated in advance. The room you booked is a double room of 18 m² with one double bed. As clearly stated in the room description, the room has only one double bed and is not suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. If the reservation had been made with the correct details — for 2 adults and 2 children — the system would not have allowed you to book this accommodation, as it does not meet the capacity requirements. Therefore, it was already clear from the booking description that the room contains only one double bed and is intended for two people. Nevertheless, in order not to affect your holiday, and although we did not have rooms available, we allowed you to stay together in the same room, applying only a small additional fee for the second child. We would also like to clarify the following: The bathroom is equipped with a ventilation system that works throughout the day. Breakfast is served in our seaside restaurant and is prepared according to all hygiene standards. We always try our best to make our guests feel comfortable, while at the same time we kindly ask for accurate booking details so that we can prepare the right accommodation for each family. The attentive and friendly staff provided exceptional service throughout our stay. The complimentary breakfast was delightful, offering a great start to each day. We frequently dined at the hotel restaurant, which impressed us with its extensive and delicious menu selection. The hotel's prime location offered direct beach access, and we particularly appreciated that beach loungers and umbrellas were included in our package. This added value enhanced our vacation experience. This hotel delivered everything we needed for a perfect beach getaway.

Two points of feedback: - Cleaning could be every day instead of every two days. At the very least towel changes every day given its a beach environment - Breakfast could be improved as it was little variety and not the best quality

Verified reviewWe had such a relaxing week here. The hotel is in the perfect location, right across from the beach. They provide sunbeds, beach towels, and a great breakfast, all included. There’s also a nice pool if you want a break from the sea. The staff were amazing, always helpful and kind. Their restaurant across the road has fantastic food, we ended up eating there several times. Everything was easy and stress-free, just what we needed.
The wifi could be a bit better. But it was not really an issue since we spent most of the time either at the beach or the pool

Quality/price ratio overall was not right. The bed was not comfortable, if you had a shower the whole bathroom was wet, the bathtub that made the room more expensive didnt work properly and the breakfast had to be better than what was offered for the price you pay.

Verified reviewVery nice and helpful staff working there. The room was very clean and comfortable, airco worked good. The beach is very close by and there's always a sunbed available for you. The pool was very nice, gets cleaned regularly and is not busy at all. Breakfast was fine, but not a lot of variation.
The walls (and door) are pretty thin, so you hear a lot of noise from outside. There are small windows in the door, so it lets a lot light through in the morning.
