Great place to stay in Sarande. Good rooms and all well maintained. This is a family run business so they are all over it and great customer service during our stay. The view from the room is amazing. The food was great as well.

Very nice room with a stunning view on the beach and sea. Beautiful private beach right in front of the hotel. Very quiet. Nearby parking included in the price of the room. Fation is a very helpful and nice host.

Absolutely 10 star service and luxury. We loved the oceanfront location and the on-site restaurant service and food were outstanding. The family run hotel includes the most fabulous mother chef who goes out of her way to make everything perfect. The private beach and beach bar service and free secure car parking were also appreciated....No wonder everyone gives you 5 star luxury hotel reviews. We will be back 🥰

That we couldn’t stay longer.

The communication pre-arrival was helpful, responsive and polite. But it didn’t even hint at how lovely the place is and the people are. From the moment we checked in we were impressed. The room is modern, beautifully appointed and immaculately clean and the balcony became one of our favourite places to relax. Everyone has mentioned it but Maria’s cooking is glorious, the breakfasts will keep you going most of the day! But it’s the warmth of the welcome, the hospitality, the ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude of everyone, to the point where they moved a table onto the beach for our last night’s sundowner G&Ts. It’s also ideally placed for a walk into town, or to catch the bus to Butrint, which you have to visit I really recommend OpenTours for a visit to the Blue Eye as well. We will be back because we just felt so relaxed staying there, it’s rare a hotel feels like a home-from-home but Da Luz did exactly that.

The only constructive feedback we have is regarding communication before arrival. It would have been helpful to have direct contact details, such as an email address, before our stay, as we were only able to message through Booking.com. Once we arrived, we noticed a contact card at reception with an email address, which would have been great to receive in advance.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Da Luz Boutique Hotel. The location is about a 15-minute walk from Sarandë Port and conveniently close to a supermarket and several restaurants. The hotel is situated down a steep slope, but we managed it just fine. We were warmly greeted by the owner, who personally showed us to our rooms. Two of us stayed in the Deluxe Suite next to the dining area, and it was absolutely beautiful—spacious, stylish, and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was lovely and well-equipped, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub, which we used twice during our stay. The room had everything we could need: bathrobes, slippers, a dental kit, shower cap, shampoo (though no shower gel), and tea/coffee-making facilities. We were also provided with separate towels for the bathroom and the hot tub. Daily housekeeping was a nice touch that kept everything fresh. The hotel is family-owned, and the owners prepare all the food on-site. We had lunch there twice—both meals were delicious and included vegetarian options and they even gave us complimentary cake for dessert. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was fantastic. Each morning, a selection of fresh items like pancakes, bread, cakes, and pastries was set out on our table, and we could then choose a hot main dish such as eggs, yogurt, or crepes. Eating while looking out over the beach and ocean was such a treat—an absolutely perfect view. The hotel also has a private beach with plenty of sunbeds, which made relaxing by the sea effortless and enjoyable. On our last day, we checked out, but the owners kindly stored our luggage for us so we could explore the Blue Eye without worry. We had a wonderful time at Da Luz Boutique Hotel and would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Sarandë!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owner made us feel like part of the family. The hospitality was truly exceptional — they served us delicious breakfast with variety of options, and even went out of their way to wake up early and prepare a vegetarian breakfast for us before our early morning flight. It was a level of care and warmth we hadn’t experienced before. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, complete with an outdoor jacuzzi that offered stunning sea views. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a personal touch.

Amazing room with a hot tub looking out to the sea and Corfu. The hotel is exceptionally clean and the rooms are modern. The breakfast is truly excellent! You genuinely don’t need lunch as you receive so many options, all cooked fresh and to order. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough for a stay in Sarande!

First time in Albania and have to say it was amazing. I believe this hotel might be ran by a family. We always saw the same gentleman everyday and he was so friendly and helpful throughout the whole stay. Breakfast was included every morning and did we eat a lot ! He just kept brining us food to try and my family loved it. When me and my family visit again I will be staying here. Thank you

Everything was perfect. The best hotel I stayed in during my trip to Albania. The room was well decorated, comfortable and there was also a hot tub, which was great especially that when I arrived in saranda, it was raining. 😄 the breakfast was tasty and the owner gave me some cake as I was in a rush for a day trip with a guide.
