Everything was perfect!

Amazing location in the old town. The rooms are comfortable and the beds have curtains and lights. The family that owns it are very helpful and kind. The terrace out the back is good with an amazing view of the castle. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was lovely!. Thank you so much I had an amazing time in Gjirokaster!

The hostel was very home-like and I got a warming welcome from the owner. Quiet, close to the Bazaar and restaurants and a walking distance from the bus station. The hostel doesnt have a communcal kitchen, but the hostel also doesn’t advertise having one.

This is a family run hostel and they are very welcoming. Breakfast is freshly prepared. I had a dorm room to myself and it is very quiet five minutes walk from the square.

There is no shower enclosure in the bathroom, so the floor is left wet after shower, which can be tricky, if you just want to use the toilet.

Close to the Gjirokastër old town and within reasonble walking distance of the bus terminal, but still, be ready for the hike up the steep stone-paved streets! Clean room, comfortable bed. Like the simple, modern decorations with some Ottoman-style touches. The common area is actually the owners' living room. In the evening, you will see the family gathering there.

No normal kitchen. No free tea or coffee .l(50c) no kettle or bowls , plates knife or forks. Only coffee table that you could use if the family wasn’t using it. If you just want clean bed this is fine , 6 of you all use the only combined shower toilet. But often a long leg crossing Waite

Nothing, I wished I stayed longer.

The room with private bathroom is spacious and cleaned. Bathroom amenities only had towel and hand soap. The house was quiet at the time I was there. Might be an easy walk from bus terminal if you're young and active due to the uphills, and easy walk to the new town due to short distance. Cico was very kind helping me getting a taxi.

Ariana and her husband Koli are the sweetest people you can meet. They are so nice, ready to help and really interested in spending time with their guests. the hostel is very centrally located. it is spotless and both Ariana and Koli are constantly cleaning. the dorm rooms are nice, the beds are very comfortable and with curtains for privacy. there is also a big locker with keys. There is no kitchen. I really enjoyed Cico hostel and hope to go back for the folk festival. Thank you Ariana and Koli, it was a real pleasure spending time with you at your place!

Not really a hostel, more of a guesthouse, so don't expect a social atmosphere. But this is not an issue otherwise.

It´s quite uphill and maps do not show exact location so it can be challenging to find the hostel.

Even though I had to arrive very late (around 4 AM), they waited for me and accommodated me. Everything was very nice and clean. Thank you!
