Very nice people very nice hostel

The location was good, the beds were comfortable and there was a curtain for privacy.

The room is very small and getting into the shower while people are still sleeping was challenging and unpleasant. You can't really sit in the living room because the seating is uncomfortable and the family/hostel owners are there most of the time so it feels uncomfortable (in my opinion). The owner was nice overall. But this is not a hostel where you can really develop relationships with other travelers.

The bedrooms themselves were very clean, with private bathrooms. It is a good location.

The kitchen was incredibly dirty and mainly used by the family living there, doubling as their bedroom and storage space. The balcony area was advertised as a social eating and sitting area but was used for laundry and was also used for storage of things. The only shared space is the living room that the family was in 24/7, watching TV, and eating there. Its literally hostel bedrooms within an albanian families house that they live in and are in 24/7, so you have to exist around them despite paying for amenities

Amazing location in the old town. The rooms are comfortable and the beds have curtains and lights. The family that owns it are very helpful and kind. The terrace out the back is good with an amazing view of the castle. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was lovely!. Thank you so much I had an amazing time in Gjirokaster!

The hostel was very home-like and I got a warming welcome from the owner. Quiet, close to the Bazaar and restaurants and a walking distance from the bus station. The hostel doesnt have a communcal kitchen, but the hostel also doesn’t advertise having one.

Clean and comfy bed in the room . Bathroom is clean too. Big locker is in the room. Bed has curtains for your privacy Free towels, light and socket just next to bed

Its really hard to go up with suitcase. Slippery pebbles road. You have to take a taxi.

This is a family run hostel and they are very welcoming. Breakfast is freshly prepared. I had a dorm room to myself and it is very quiet five minutes walk from the square.

Close to the Gjirokastër old town and within reasonble walking distance of the bus terminal, but still, be ready for the hike up the steep stone-paved streets! Clean room, comfortable bed. Like the simple, modern decorations with some Ottoman-style touches. The common area is actually the owners' living room. In the evening, you will see the family gathering there.

There is no shower enclosure in the bathroom, so the floor is left wet after shower, which can be tricky, if you just want to use the toilet.

Good location, not difficult to find. Pleasant family hostel. Clean room, quiet, great price.
