A wonderful garden to relax

This was definitely my favorite stay on Booking.com because of these incredible host. I wish I had more than one night here. It was incredible. The spacious yard and laidback atmosphere was exactly what we needed after the business of Kotor and Dubrovnik old towns. I booked very last minute and host had everything ready and perfect for our stay

Everything was perfect.

Very nice big garden and a little appartement you stay in. It’s a bit strange when you arrive, you have to follow the directions carefully or you end up in the nearby village with surprised (but friendly) locals like we did. There’s also a little shop in the village with snacks and such. You find the little apartment behind a furniture shop just outside the village, but you don’t notice the location so much when you’re in the garden/appartement. The host provides a great breakfast that you have to prepare yourself. There’s loads of animals in the garden, including cute dogs and a tortoise we saw. It’s lovely to have breakfast in the garden!!

Location is a little hard to find, google maps sends you the wrong way, so make sure to follow the instructions the host sends you. Also the animals are a little noisy at night, but nothing problematic, it’s a welcome relief from city noises.

It was like a little oasis. This room is a perfect little gem. The interior styling makes this room feel like a home away from home. Warm and welcoming. The garden with the fruit trees, flowers, swing and the chickens and other birds is so relaxing. The roosters woke up very early, but I didnt mind - when you do, just bring earplugs. The breakfast was really nice, eggs, toast, cheese and jam (and pomegranates) Very good coffee. Although the room is near the highway you can hardly hear the cars. I was travelling alone and did feel save because of the fence closing it of from the highway at night. Restaurants and supermarkets are nearby.

It looks nice on booking - that's why i chose it.

It's not a private garden but a private farm. The only thing missing are penguins. Although that would be nice. In the meantime, you spend the night with pigeons that are behind the wall, are there a few of them? a dozen? They make a lot of noise. At 4 in the morning, roosters wake you up, they crow until 6. You go out to drink coffee. But above you on the veranda, parrots are screaming and fighting. Feathers are everywhere. It smells bad. The location is not as stated in booking, it's at the back of a furniture store. It's hard to get there..

My time in the garden room was like a fairy tale. It was so peaceful and pretty with all the greenery around. A really nice place to relax and be close to nature. I'd definitely recommend it for a calm getaway..

Be aware: room is adjacent to chicken and geese coop. Plenty of eggs for breakfast in an agricultural setting.

Breakfast was interesting. Food was kept in the fridge for us. There was a kitchen in the room which we could use. The owner brought croissants from town for us in the morning. We could pluck berries from the garden.

We have no complaints actually. We like the farm setting. We didn't know how to use the TV though. Not suitable if you don't have a car.

Very comfortable apartment, brand new and clean. Well equipped. Beautiful and big private garden, it was great as we traveled with a dog. The host is very kind, she gave us many recommendations. Recommended if you can move by car to the center of Shkodra.

The apartment is located in the back of a building facing the main street that connects Shkodra to Tirana. The area is not charming and you need the car to move around. Not recommended if you want to have dinner out in the city center and avoid the car. The garden has a closed area dedicated to doves, chickens and ducks :) which is nice but can be noisy in the early morning - however the host told us that they're going to make some adjustments as the structure was recently put on Booking.com.

It has a great garden and a lot of outside space. It was very well decorated and clean. The lady was very helpful. There are restaurants 2 min from the place, supermarket. Everything you need.

Every was perfect. Just be aware that it’s not in the centre For us it’s what we were looking for.

Lovely host (and father in law). We got some fruits from the garden and some raki as a welcoming gift. The host also gave us some travelbooks. Check our the lovely little shop she owns too, if have the chance. It is on the same terrain. The room was neat and felt very welcoming. Also loved the garden and airco.

The shower flooded quite fast. Looked like the disposal was a little clogged.

Staying at Auroras place was my favourite stay during my travels through Albania. We spontaneously booked 1 night with our dog - make sure to have Internet cause you will need the google maps Link Aurora will send you :) You‘ll stay in a beautiful Room with your own Garden in the back of Auroras Family manufactory. There are dogs, chickens, geese and deafs. The Garden is so lovely - a quiet little paradise on the way to Shkodra/Teth. If you don‘t want to stay in the city Centre make sure to Book a Night in this place - absolutly recommend it!!

The place was very cozy and cute, clean and very beautiful. The garden was awesome, the host was very kind and brought us breakfast as well.

A quite place in the middle of the green but also just a 5 min ride away from the city of Shkoder. Very kind staf. Everything cleaned up and ready on our arrive! Highly recommended!
