The staff didn’t speak in english very well and the conversion from euro to Leke was wrongly executed. Once we reported about it, the staff member responsible for Check-Our simply answered that in Theth they do the conversion of 1€=100 Leke everywhere (which is not truth and means that we payed more than we should have). Once we left they gave us a “no-show” on Booking.com which didn’t allow us to share a review or ask for further help about this matter.

The only thing we didn't like was the hospitality from the lady who checked us in. Just a bit of advice would be to be more welcoming with a smile.

Our room felt very small for three people (double bed + single bed), and the bathroom was extremely cramped, with the shower right next to the toilet and sink. The “mountain view” was misleading, as it was just a small window with limited view. Communication at the reception was difficult since the staff spoke little English. The breakfast was quite poor and not very varied (maybe because we arrived at the end of service). We asked for a taxi to the hiking trail the next morning; it cost €50 round trip, and we still had to walk about 45 minutes from the drop-off point. Overall, the room we booked didn’t feel worth the price we paid. If staying more than one night, I’d recommend choosing a more comfortable option — like the chalets.

The property is well located, right next to the chapel (one of Theth’s main attractions) and close to the trails for the waterfall and the Blue Eye. The complex is beautiful, with a lovely aesthetic, and it shares ownership with the nearby hotel, which has an excellent restaurant where we had a very good meal. The chalets with outdoor jacuzzis looked amazing — definitely worth booking if your budget allows.

Perfect location in the peaceful side of Theth, the restaurant next to it also very good food! Beautiful views, a bit further from the trail for who is hiking the Peaks of Balkans, but totally worth the extra steps!

The room was rather basic/small and could have benefited from a small fridge. The staff was nice but not as hospitality-minded as all the other places and people we have stayed with in Albania. There was not restaurant and the options for snacks were minimal.

The room was clean and the garden was comfortable and quiet. The room had a fan. They arranged transport to Shkroda for the next day.

The stuff was incredible they even let us refill water bottles something which is unheard of in most establishments as most just force you to buy water if you want it in general the atmosphere is very family like as in reality the establishment is indeed family owned

Couldn’t recommend this guesthouse more. Was exactly what we needed after the hike from Valbone. Excellent room and awesome breakfast. Great hosts - they even provide slides which was much appreciated so our feet got a rest from our hiking shoes! Will be recommending to anyone heading to this area.
