Clean hotel in the centre of town near the bus back to Shkoder and not too far from the trail. Tidy room and there is a spot to hang laundry after the hike.

It was a lovely hotel, The evening food was delicious, breakfast is just the standard buffet food filling! the staff were friendly and helped out with getting a lift back to theth! You can't go wrong with the location, a few different restaurants, bars and shops nearby

Good location Welcoming staff

Room is pretty hot even if the weather is good outside. Lights come in early in the morning due to nonblocking curtains. Scorpion in the bathroom :)

The location is right in the City Center. You can start the hikes from the location.

The breakfast was not done in a very good way.

The guesthouse looks very modern, the bed in our first room was very comfortable. Edmund who works there was very attentive and was a big help with the issues we had with the room. Unfortunately we had to change rooms due to a venomous scorpion hiding in between the wooden panels (can't be mad at nature being in nature!) Breakfast buffet had a decent selection of things.

Our first room smelt really bad of sewage and dirty pipes. We couldn't open the windows due to mosquitos and so we couldn't circulate the air flow, making the smell worse. There was a large hole in the bathroom wall, and a smaller hole in the bedroom wall.

Situated at the head of the Valbona - Theth Hiking trail. Ideal for a night when coming from Theth.

Bathroom was a bit sketchy. Dog barking at night.

Beautiful wooden rooms in a central location. Nice and helpful host.

Unpleasant smell in one of the bathrooms and a leak in the other.

The staff was nice, the location is convenient/practical.

The building seems poorly built with lots of shortcuts taken in the construction - e.g. noise and heat insulation. The bathroom is on a different floor to the room and not very clean.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff that spoke both Albanian and English. Clean drinkable water everywhere. The location includes a few nice restaurants and bars, activities like a zipline along the river, access to the small river beach and a place to swim in. Very good price and quality balance.

No Air-Conditioning in the room but it was not needed as nights get cold enough and all rooms have windows. All was good and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse in Theth! The place itself is beautiful – the wooden rooms are clean, cozy, and well-maintained, and the breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day. The location is perfect – with easy access to hiking trails and surrounded by breathtaking Mountain Views. A special mention goes to Edmond, our host – he was incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. He gave us great tips for hiking routes and went out of his way to assist us with anything we needed. His warm hospitality really made the experience even more memorable. I would highly recommend staying here and would 100% come back again!

The accommodation is handily located at the entrance of the village. The staff were helpful, and the breakfast was great.

Was well located. Coffee from the bar was good.

Our room did not even closely resemble the pictures. The room was from the 80s, the bathroom was super old. The shower was almost broken. The courtains could not be opened as it was ground floor and directly outside a complete albanian family (~6 people plus 2 babies) was sitting on the table 80% of the day. I think they were family of the owner of this place. The building seems to have no damping / noise isolation whatsoever so you can hear every move on any floor above, every word of the people sitting on the table outside, the only way i could sleep is with wine / earplugs and after the albanian family went to bed. The breakfast was the cheapest stuff you can still label as such. Coffee was ok/good I explained the situation at the reception and the first suggestion was we could move to another room, but when i asked if that one would be like in the pictures reply was no its the same we have which i would consider deceptive. The second was to claim a fake „no show“ towards booking.com (to return some fees) which i would also classify as deceptive / fraudulent. So summarizing the reception talked nicely and made a nice face but his suggestions were more deception / fraud which didnt really surprise me. I have never been to a place where star ratings and reality were so far off. My only explanation is they either made very many friends of the family stay there to make a „friendly“ review
