We should have stayed longer!

If I could give them 100 I would. The host Zimara is a wonderful woman, so full of life and energy and so helpful!!!! We never were lacking in anything. She treated us like family. It was the best getaway from the smoky city to enjoy her lush green property. Her cooking is top notch. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a meal as much as I did her dinner! You leave feeling recharged and breathing better!

The accommodation is set in a stunning location surrounded by hills. Mrs. Zamira and her family are exceptional hosts, always willing to lend a hand. After a long motorcycle journey, they warmly welcomed us with refreshing water and fresh fruit. The entire property is beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. The portions are generous and truly delicious. We will definitely return—and next time, for more than just one night.

We stayed for 4 nights and had an absolutely wonderful time. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby throughout our stay. Our host went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience, constantly taking care of our needs. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like part of the family. The food was a highlight of our stay. The host is an excellent cook, and the meals were simply delicious. We were treated to a variety of local dishes made of local ingredients, which gave us a true taste of the region's cuisine. The host was also very helpful in recommending places for us to visit and explore. The location itself is perfect for discovering Theth by car. The surrounding area is breathtakingly beautiful, making it an ideal base for our adventures. We had a safe parking place as well. Overall, we highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore Theth and experience genuine local hospitality. The combination of comfortable accommodation, delicious food, wonderful host, and stunning surroundings made for an unforgettable stay.

The staff here are just INCREDIBLE. They simply cannot do enough for you. The food is absolutely wonderful and the room is clean and large with very comfortable beds. We were given so many ‘gifts’…….wine, roasted chestnuts, hazelnuts, pizzas to take on our walks. The generosity never ended, an experience we will remember for a long time

The owner was very friendly, despite the language barrier she was very helpful and tried to advise us. A snack of homemade pears and figs awaited us on arrival at our accommodation. We felt like we were visiting relatives. She even packed us a snack for the trip. It was possible to add dinner to the accommodation, which was royal and everything was made from local ingredients. There was a savory and sweet option for breakfast, both were delicious. The accommodation itself was lovely and clean. Car parking was available in the courtyard behind the gate. We will remember this accommodation and the owner for a long time.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

We spent couple of lovely days at Geshtenja. The host, Zamira, treated us like family or very good friends, so we felt like home. Really, we couldn't ask for more. She served us delicious food, was very kind and caring. Honesltly, we haven't encountered such a person during our travels thus far, so can only recommend and thank for all the kindness we were given. 😊 ♥

We loved our stay at Geshtenja. The kindness and attentiveness of Zamira and her husband made our stay unique and simply amazing. The food was delicious and Zamira made vegetarian dishes for us as we don’t eat meat. The room is very spacious, with heating and aircon (we used the aircon as we travelled in summer), very comfy beds and a nice view. The location is nice if you’re looking to get away from crowded areas and looking for quiet and surrounded by nature. We’d love to be back! P.S.: Just a recommendation, if you follow google maps, will make you take a dirt pebble road and will take longer to get there. So from the main road (Rruga per Thethe), just take Rruga Reçit (a paved road, and definitely a shortcut) that will lead you directly to another paved road (where the restaurant/hotel is)

Don't believe Google Maps directions! An event-filled four miles down a rocky sheep track (possibly to avoid routing beside a prison?) could have been disastrous. Fortunate to have been allocated a 4x4 rental car.

The kindness of the whole family I will always remember. Their beautiful location and restaurant, the delicious (and for me, very generous servings of) locally sourced food cooked fresh, and very good local wine.

Very nice place with amazing welcoming people. Host made everything to make us comfortable. Originally we booked only one night but prolonged for 2 nights stay. I can only recommend.
