Amazing view with very kind staff that are helpful. I lost my wallet in Gjirokaster and they helped me look for it. The room itself is stunning, clean and great for both groups and duos

This a guest house, not a hotel. The host is a very nice family. The views from the terrasse (with jacuzzi) is breathtaking. The hotel is located close to the citadel, 10 minute walk downhill to the city center. Very nice traditional house fully restored.

The room had no view and was just12m2 with a meezanine. The doirway to the bathroom was 1m60 high and you kept banging your head on the staircase which was crossing the ceiling there.

Super Beautiful and close to the bazaar but without all the noise and rush. The little outdoor jazucci is fantastic. Great beds, breakfast etc. Parking is a bit difficult but agree on an exact arrival time and wait at the restaurants nearby and be guided by the sweet female owner the last 50 steep and narrow meters. The best little restaurant in town is called Castleview and is located 100 meters away, a little up the road on the right. Look for the blue awning. Everything is young Maria's own production, tastes fantastic and there is a beautiful view of the castle, and a cool breeze.

This place is very new and comfortable. On top of the old town with a superb view on the castle from the jacuzzi. Very clean, super tasty breakfast and friendly hosts - we felt almost like home. Parking at the street also worked well for us. (I am adding pictures since we drove past it the first time. Look for the white sign. Google doesn‘t find it very well. 😉)

The staff at this hotel were the best that I have ever experienced. They were courteous, helpful and super friendly. Our room was fabulously clean and very functional. It is also situated in a great location with a number of traditional restaurants close by. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend anyone considering a stay in Gjirokaster.

Beautiful location north of the old town with a stunning view of the valley and castle. The suite with the bathtub was well appointed, comfortable and has amazing views. Breakfast on the terrace was also very nice.

I understand it’s a small hotel but we felt a bit rushed out in the morning. 1030 am check out feels a bit early and staff were asking us if they could enter the room to start cleaning around 9.

We had a wonderful stay at the Aqueduct inn, with a great view of the castle from our room. Our room was big and had a nice bath tub to admire the views. The breakfast was one of the highlights, served by a very nice lady with a great English. Our kids loved the jacuzzi and still talk about it. You can sit there and enjoy the views of the city.

The parking situation should be clearly defined from the beginning and the guests should be informed where to park. The street was closed to cars due to roadworks so we spent some time trying to manage that. It would have been easier if we would have been informed where to park.

Really nice and good looking room. We stayed in the suite, the bathtub with view was wonderful. The jacuzzi was super nice as well. It is a really old building and the owners have made sure all the old features are still there, which makes it lovely. The owners are super nice and attentive as well. Would 100% stay here again if we ever go back to Gjirokaster.

    Nothing, everything was super good.

Very special accommodation with an incredible view. We chose the best room, huge and with an enormous bathtub, and a comfy bed. Also, they have an outside jacuzzi that we were able to use it at any time. Everything was spotless! The breakfast was delicious, and the hosts simply lovely! One of them waited for us outside because the place is a bit hidden in the narrow streets, and can be a bit tricky to find. We recommend it 100%!

    Everything was perfect!

Amazing views of the castle and Gjorkaster! The host has done a lot of renovations but has kept everything very traditional stone and wood work. Beautiful place.

The room our friends had was odd, dark and strange layout.

So, I love small proprietorships like this, and I really wish there were more like it. The entire facility consists of 4 guest rooms, and they are presently adding a 5th room. All rooms have access to a wonderful public veranda overlooking the city. It has some kind of water tub (see listing pictures), but this was not heated so we couldn't use it. We did however sit out there and smoke a couple of cigars, and that was a really spectacular experience. (Don't confuse this with the "Suite with hottub" which we didn't book) I liked the rooms, and the breakfast was very intimately served in the morning by a nice young lady. The best thing I can say is that I would stay here again, now that I know the ropes about how to get there and park (see my notes on that below).

Some work needs to be done assisting guests to get to this location. To our surprise, the road in front of the establishment is under construction, and we basically had to back our huge van down a narrow alley to escape the dead end. The hotel entrance was poorly marked, so it took us at least 10 minutes to find it. I highly suggest the hotel send a notice to all guests about how to get to the hotel and where and how to park ... especially while the road construction is ongoing. Fortunately, the hotel has arranged for parking accommodations down the hill for guests. Note however that there is a huge hill to climb to get your bags up from that parking lot to the hotel. Again, more information from the hotel would be helpful.

The view was stunning - seeing it from in the bath was one of the highlights of our trip. Jona and her team were extremely friendly and helpful getting us parking. Recommend!
