The property and hosts are lovely. This is the third time i stay at Aphrodite and each time i have left satisfied!

Parking can get busy and difficult to find, especially during nighttime.

A nice hotel with a magnificent view of the nearby beaches. The room was simple but had everything we needed: the real plus of this hotel was truly the outdoor terrasse and the breakfast, which was enormous, varied and made fresh to order. We chose to eat at the hotel both nights during our stay: the menu was varied and ingredients high quality. The bar menu offered a selection of signature cocktails that we also enjoyed. Staff was absolutely lovely: the family clearly has mastered their business and they were some of the friendliest people we met during our 10 days in Albania

Not a lot of place in the parking lot

Hotel and restaurant with fantastic views. Spacious room, clean, with a comfortable bed. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and amazing cocktails. Breakfast was delightful — very generous, and it changed from day to day, which was a nice surprise.

The parking area was quite chaotic: it's small, unmarked, and doesn’t guarantee a spot. The check-in felt a bit rushed, and messages sent before check-in were never answered. Also, having a car is highly recommended to get to the beach — the walk is not that short and includes a steep hill, which can be tough, especially on hot days.

The position, the room was clean and comfy, beautiful view, the food was amazing and the staff very kind! Try fig and olive for dinner!

The airdryer broke immidiately, the bed was made of two single beds that kept splitting from one another

The hotel is located on top of the hill in Himare which makes for beautiful views over the ocean. The restaurant at the hotel is amazing and the food is amazing. Such friendly staff and just a great place to stay.

Room was extremely small and a few things in our room was broken but small things

The accommodation had a lovely view, was clean and had a beautiful outdoor restaurant with delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

We loved the view and our balcony overlooking the water and cute restaurant downstairs. We also loved the delicious restaurant below and ate there both nights we stayed here!

A steep walk on a windy road down into town but we had a car so wasn’t a big deal for us! And chose to eat at the restaurant on site which I’d highly recommend!

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful beachfront property! From the moment I arrived, I was swept away by the stunning views, relaxing atmosphere, and warm hospitality. The vibes here are truly something special. The on-site restaurant was a highlight of my trip. Every meal was exceptional – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Chef Irini is a true culinary artist, and each dish felt like it was made with both skill and heart. The cocktails were equally impressive, perfectly mixed and a joy to sip while watching the sunset. My personal favorites Esspresso Martini and Himarita. A special thank you to Spiro, our wonderful host, whose friendly energy and attention to detail made me feel right at home. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure every moment of my stay was perfect. If you’re looking for a place by the beach with incredible food, great drinks, and genuine hospitality, this is the spot. I can’t wait to come back!

Nothing

It was the best cost-benefit we had in Albania. The room is comfortable, the location is good, and we could rest and relax, off to a good start for a road trip around the Albanian coast. I would have stayed an extra night if I had known we would enjoy it that much. And there were other nice beaches to explore nearby, but I preferred Sarande. Ksamil was also too busy and expensive. Himare's surroundings were better and less crowded, in my opinion. Gjipe is a must-see!

The only issue is that the hotel restaurant had no vegetarian options for dinner. Luckily, the hotel next door (Persephone) had a few options. It should be added to the menu!

Nice room, perfect view on the beach, short drive to the beach and free parking. Perfect restaurant with friendly staff. Overwhelming breakfast.

The sound in the restaurant was a little bit loud.

Very well kept property, owners worked hard to maintain it. Beautiful view over the sea. The dinner is amazing and breakfast generous! Our AC broke and they provided a solution immediately and fixed the next night.

Nothing! Only thing is the walk to the beach is about 20-22mins down but a bit hard going in the other direction. Totally doable though! I recommend this hotel

All in the Aphrodite's garden is stunning. The owners, staff and guests are great. Perfect location 15 min walk to the beach. Large parking and great food. We love the place and people who create the hotel

Everything was perfect from start to finish of our trip. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with amazing views from the restaurant, especially for sunset. A must to have an evening at the restaurant, food is 10/10! Breakfast is also great, such variety every day and freshly homemade. The staff went above and beyond and couldn’t do enough for you, on hand to help with any recommendations, days out and also organising taxis. Thank you for a perfect stay for our first ever visit here to Albania, we will definitely be back!

Located at the top of a hill, so without a car might be tricky however taxis are available and cheap to the beach.

It’s a cute little hotel on top of a hill in Himare with a beautiful outlook over the water. It’s only 5 mins drive from Himare centre and the same to the nearest beach - Livadh Beach. It also has a bistro on site that serves lovely food and great cocktails. We arrived early and they were very accommodating with us checking in early. All the staff were extremely lovely. The rooms were clean and a good size for a couple of nights. I would suggest hiring a car or other vehicle if you are going to stay here as it would make it a bit easier getting around but we walked or caught a taxi and managed okay. Would absolutely stay here again.

This hotel, surrounded by lovely greenery and flowers, has a spectacular view with a beautiful restaurant. The hotel is on top of a hill with easy parking access. The parking is not right outside the of the hotel but you can drive your car up, drop your suitcases before parking your car under a minute walk away. It is very close 2-3 min drive to Livadhi beach, that has beach clubs and bars, and less than 5 minutes drive to the main beach in Himare which has both public and private areas to sit along with all the shops and restaurants. It is a family run property and the owners here are so friendly and really considerate. If you want the best view, be sure to book the room with a sea view although it doesn’t matter which room you get as you’ll eat breakfast in the garden with the view and be able to sit in the garden for dinner if you wish anyway. The rooms are simplistic and good enough for what you need. The breakfast is so generous and very tasty. Such a variety for everyone, including children. A range of delicious sweet or savoury options with eggs cooked to your preference too. It’s important to mention that the staff hired to work here at the restaurant offer service that is above the standard what we received throughout the many places we visited in Albania. They are really attentive and want to make an effort with all guests both at breakfast and dinner. If you are staying here, be sure to try the restaurant because the menu is great, the food is delicious and the home made wine and lemoncello even better!

The breakfast was outstanding. Algo we had dinner one day also in its restaurant. Everything was delicious. It seems they have the best cook ever. Also the views from the terrass were beautiful. The team of waitresses were very very nice
