I have some dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy) and it was challenging at times to communicate about that with staff who spoke very little/no English. This is totally understandable, but I'd just say if you have dietary restrictions you could bring yourself a few extra safe snacks :)

We had an incredible stay at Elea! It was comfortable, peaceful, and beautiful. Our room was clean and cozy with a beautiful view off the balcony. The staff was kind, patient, and welcoming. The breakfast was perfect! Everything was very fresh, healthy, and tasty. The coffee was delicious and they made any espresso drinks we requested. The waitress at the restaurant was very helpful with my dietary restrictions. At one meal we ordered something that she hadn't realized I couldn't eat so she took it back and the kitchen made a new recipe for me! They also made me a personal chocolate mousse each night that didn't include the cookie crumble on top. Also we highly recommend the green salad... it has house made cheese and fresh figs and it was fantastic!

The location is awesome since you can enjoy the sea view from your table at breakfast or dinner. The facilities are comfortable : the rooms and the whole place have been furnished and decorated with care. It felt really cosy and practical. Moreover, the food was excellent quality and local. Finally, I really appreciated the kindness of the staff. Probably the best place I’ve stayed at in Albania.

This accommodation is one of my favourites I have ever stayed in! It is truly special and I really recommend experiencing it! The room was beautiful and spacious, made even better by the incredible view from the balcony. What made this place so special was the lovely family who run it, we ate at their restaurant everyday because the food was amazing and we felt looked after there! We managed to stay there without a car, (the walk to the nearest beach is about 20 minutes and to the town probably 45 minutes), but a car would be recommended. Truly can’t say enough good things about this place!!!

Fantastic guest house in the hills overlooking Himare. The staff were great. The breakfasts were local, homemade, & wonderful. Great view of the sea from the balcony. Quiet & comfortable. Do yourself a favor and be sure to have dinner there at least one night, it's fantastic!

nothing all perfect

Perfect stay in a wonderful guesthouse run by a lovely friendly family. Very high standard room with nice balcony and view. Great air con, good shower, comfortable bed and good wifi. The staff are all really helpful and answer any questions you have. Communication was also excellent before arrival. The guesthouse is set above Himare with really excellent views and is so quiet. I love the fact they do not play music and you can just hear the sounds of nature. The restaurant served some of the best food I had in Albania. All locally sourced and grown and every dish was great and the restaurant is a really good vibe. And such good value for money! The breakfast was excellent and plenty. They also changed the egg style each day which was nice. If you want somewhere quiet away from the hustle and bustle in a quiet guesthouse with great restaurant you should stay here. I think you will need transport as I had a scooter and most other guests had cars.

The view from the room and restaurant is incredible. We LOVED the included breakfast and ate at the hotel restaurant most nights as it was so delicious. Having a car whilst staying here meant we could explore easily, it would have been tricky without one with the hot weather but it is possible. The staff are very lovely and welcoming and made the stay very special. Amazing value for money, very highly recommended!

Eléa Guesthouse is an enchanting place that went way beyond our expectations. We staied in a nicely furnished recently renewed room whose balcony faces the inner garder while offering an incredible side view of the Himare bay at the same time. The breakfast is generous, healthy, and tasty, like all the food offered by Eléa and served in the structure's incredible terrace. The Guesthouse is nestled in the most beautiful Mediterranean nature, but what really made our experience perfect was the staff, kind and professional people able to make the guests feel home and among friends. There was a hot water kettle in the room but no mugs or coffee or tea, would have loved some coffee packets! But honestly everything was great.

This place is gorgeous, the breakfast is delicious and plenty (coffee, eggs, pastries, fruit, yogurt, juice), the dinner options are also plenty and delicious and fresh. Sunsets from here are perfect, the location just above Himare is super convenient yet also nicely quiet and removed from crowds. I loved it, would easily go back.

The light in the bathroom didn't work well...

The stay in Eléa was good! The breakfast was delicious, the reaturant's terrace was amazing, although the portions during the dinners could be a bit bigger. The room was clean, with comfy bed, and a huge balcony with breathtaking views of Himare coast. The light in the bathroom didn't work well, so it was a bit uncomfortable. The service was amazing, they helped us changing some money, and they even prepared two sandwiches for our last day's breakfast because the departure was quite early in the morning. Thank you for everything!
