Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

South AfricaThe property is bit hidden behind the hospital, detracting from the views. The cabin has 0 amenities, not even a glass or a kettle. I know you can ask them, but it sucks that you can’t make yourself a cup of coffee or tea. The yard needs a tidying up. It is premium priced but misses on delivery.
We stayed in the new modern cabin. Cosy with nice finishes.

United KingdomNo soundproofing, can hear neighbours talking. No aircon, so rooms get quite warm in summer. Rooms are pretty bare.
Well located, close to hiking trailhead and restaurants. Rooms were clean with individual bathrooms.

BelgiumWalls are very thin and you hear everything from the corridor or neighbouring rooms. One of our rooms had water problems. Breakfast was quite limited.

United KingdomThere were a few power cuts but I think this is the case everywhere in Theth due to the remote location. Other than this everything was great!
A nice family run hotel in a beautiful position. Great location for starting the Theth - Valbone hike (a short 5 min walk to the start of the trail). We stayed in the cabin next to the hotel. This was nice and views and generally very comfortable. There is a very nice restaurant next door called the Gurra Family Restaurant. This had great food with good sized portions.

United KingdomShelves or a plastic stack of shelves are needed in that bathroom along with a place to hang the towels to dry. It would be nice to be greeted with a little bit of warmth when you arrive or when it is breakfast time, have tables cleared after breakfast and not food/ plates left piled up on the counter in the breakfast room. The music choice for breakfast also was rap music - which I love in a bar or a night out but not so much in the middle of a very chilled place at 8am. This might be something to consider. This is nothing to do with the property but if you bring suitcases without a car, you will need to get a 1-2 minute taxi to drive you down to the property from the bus stop - the road itself is all gravel and unpaved to get to the hotels in the main town.
It is modern and well sealed so no flies can enter etc. We stayed in the outhouse on the right. This js very cosy with air conditioned rooms, if required. Bed is comfy and the shower is great. It is so close to the bus stop and Theth church.

TunisiaNot exactly what you see in the pictures, we thought we will have few chalets next to each lther but the one we booked was the only one there. Few spiders in the room and lots of spiders web, it's in nature but you would expect a better cleaning before you reach there. Breakfast very basic.
Friendly staff, I manage to get rid of the spiders and they came to clean it. Cute chalet but basic facilities.

PolandThere’s no air conditioning, so if you plan to stay in during the scorching afternoon heat, it can get quite stuffy. Also, there’s no mosquito screen.
Ideal location — no need to drive far on rough roads. The staff kindly prepared our breakfast to take away the night before, as we had an early departure.

PortugalWe booked the deluxe cabin and not much privacy there. The big glass window over looks the common garden area where guests hang out and walk in and out the hotel. Also a little mini fridge and an electric water kettle would have been nice.
Bed was comfy, breakfast was nice, but there’s room for improvement…

United KingdomBathroom shower sprays water everywhere so bath mats and anything on the floor is drenched. But other than that all was good. Seems locals up the road like to party until 2am on some nights so take earplugs!
Comfortable rooms and super-helpful and welcoming staff. Would happily stay here again and recommend this place.

United Arab EmiratesThis mountain hut hotel is nestled in a scenic location, perfect for nature lovers and hikers. The service is excellent, with staff always ready to assist. The breakfast offered is tasty and provides a good start to the day. While the room is small, it’s ideal for those planning to hike in the area. There's a lovely outdoor seating area to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It's easily accessible, with only about 200 meters of gravel road to cover by car.

AustriaThe shower attachment was like 2,5m high, so one couldn't put up the shower head and had to hold it instead. Also the walls are super thin and we could hear EVERYTHING from the neighboring rooms.
Nice, comfy and characteristic mountain house. Amazing dinner in the restaurant next door. Breakfast was tasty, and plentiful. Central location worth only 6min walk to the bus stop to teth.
