How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The only small thing is that the shower is very tiny and the whole floor is wet when you wash. But we've already seen this small shower in pictures and it's been in our other accommodations in Albania as well.
Very nice people and a clean and nice place. We liked that it was a bit away from the city noise and traffic. At the same time, it was a very short walk to the beach. It was very easy to get to by car and there was a good place to park.

It’s clean and in a great location. Also it’s perfect for families as there is a little park out front. The area is lovely. Also the family who run the place are so so kind and helpful. If we ever return to Ksamil we will be staying here again.

Good location-quick walk into the main part/beaches but away from the main centre (which is busy and can be noisy). Very clean and modern. Outdoor balcony and nice seats. Good communication and a really sweet girl who we dealt with.Parking is also at the property and plenty of room. Would book again if back in the area.

Comfortable studio with balcony and small kitchen. AC and internet works perfectly. Free private parking outside door and super friendly host. Small shop just outside the villa for most necessary products. For the price it’s perfect. Recommend

Really clean and everything is new. The room size was decent and the balcony an added bonus. The small kitchen is nicely stocked with kitchenware so you can easily make yourself breakfast or a more proper meal (there's also a big fridge).

The apartment was very nice and clean, maybe just a small bathroom but thats it. Landlord was very nice and helpful and we appreciate it a lot.Overall I would rate our experience here by 9/10.

We absolutely loved the place. Almando was also really nice and kind. The all building was very well furnished and clean. Also the balcony is a great value.

Nothing whatsoever
Absolutely lovely location - a few minutes walk to the beach, past some very nice restaurants, convenience store, and yet far enough away that the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. View of the sea over to Corfu, and a view of the lagoon and mountains to the rear. Feels virtually brand new, everything worked, perfect amount of space but had cooking facilities, fridge, etc. The owners are amazing, and couldn't do any more to help if they tried. Even gave us a lift into the ferry port. Warm, caring people. This is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in, and would return without a second thought. Ksamil has great beaches, it's busy in summer but not madly so. Perfect for families or couples, lots of great food and drink.

After showering, the bathroom had a lot of water on the floor due to there being no curtain or protection.
Very friendly and very helpful owners. Accommodation looks very good and recent. Very close to the center (about 10/15 minutes walk depending on the area you want to go to from Ksamil). The accommodation is in a very quiet and friendly area of Ksamil with plenty of space to park the car.

It was beautiful, the room is big enough and comfortable. The terrace and service are excellent. The boy who welcomed us is pleasant and kind. We would love to come again. 😊

The shower splashes all over the bathroom.
The host is extremely polite and friendly, and this made us feel good during our stay. The room was modern and spacious, with a generous balcony.
