Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsThe hotel is a bit outdated.
The breakfast was very nice. It seems like the fruit salad was not freshly made, which resulted in the fruits being soggy. The omelets and chocolate tea were excellent. Kerry-Ann from the restaurant was amazing, very helpful and customer friendly.

AustriaBookings cocked up as usual: when I added an extra night I didn't have a all inclusive option so we were on the local economy - Expensive!!
I’ve avoided all inclusive resorts but coming at the heel of a 4 week Caribbean adventure we thought to save money. We did but we’re surprised by the quality and comfort. Room facing ocean was large and airy, reasonably appointed, restaurant was table service for all meals, good selection, plenty of fresh fish, and the best goat curry I’ve had in years. Resectable wine and booze and great barmen. Great beach and pool and good location about 15 minutes from V. C. Bird Int. Great Caribbean vibes!

United StatesThe rooms are a little sparse, which is ok as we didn’t spend much time there - it was just one night.
The food was good. Loved all the lounge chairs on every beach and ample seating with ocean views. Loved the $5. glasses of wine 😊 We normally stay at VRBOS, this was a nice change.

CanadaThere is not much to do around the resort. It requires a car or using cabs to get around to bigger beaches or local sights. The lounge cushions need to be upgraded to a better outdoor fabric and foam as the current cushions are scratchy plastic, tired and don't drain quickly (we had some heavy rains). The only spa option was massage - doesn't really work as a "spa". Esthetic options would have been welcome.
We had the breakfast included option - excellent and wide selection. Bar and dinner menu was good. Water refills and free coffee in the lobby. The salt water pool was large. There are 2 small beaches. Lots of seating in all areas and many shade options - umbrellas and covered terraces.

United StatesSome of the deck around the bar area could be replaced . Microwaves in the rooms were missing.
Room had no microwave and I wish there was a ala cart menu for the breakfast . The only choice was a $ 29 for the 4 items on the list . I did not need more than some eggs/toast and coffee. Would be nice to have some reading lights on the balcony . We stayed in room # 111 and would have enjoyed sitting outside and read a book at night.

United StatesWe didn’t like that we could not bring food from the restaurant to our room. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous but you cannot take any uneaten food back with you. I disliked having to throw out my expensive food. Also the beds were very uncomfortable. They were 2 beds pushed together and they would separate in the middle. We kept having to push them back together. The shower is very tiny.
The environment was beautiful.

United StatesThis was my third visit. The food was fair. I missed the buffet, gone because of Covid. The vegetables were very fresh and crispy this trip, but the seafood choices were limited and bland. I also preferred coffee in the room. The towels were not fluffy, very thin, almost threadbare. The king bed I requested was two single beds pushed together- Not the same thing. The bathroom was very small, definitely not for two people. The bar staff and the Rum Punch was exceptional. It was nice, but not as nice as past visits.
Quiet, friendly staff, especially in the dining area

United StatesALL INCLUSIVE SHOULD MEAN ALL INCLUSIVE!!!! I have been to 12+ Caribbean Islands and when I have stayed in an all inclusive property I have never experienced limitations on food and drink choices, highly disappointing and would be my reason NOT to recommend or stay at this property again. This was also one of the more expensive all inclusive properties I have stayed at--absolutely NO value for the money.
The staff were AWESOME!!!! As in all other reviews, the staff made the place and my stay. Very pleasant, accommodating. The young lady at the bar finally warmed up to me on my last day, lol. Damon, the food and beverage manager and all his staff were the best!

United KingdomThe way the all inclusive is organised is frustrating as not clear the reason behind some basic cocktails not being included. Restaurant could be better organised and staff with few exceptions looks miserable and not particularly welcoming.
Good location to explore the north of the island without staying in the more busy areas. Food generally good but very limited/repetitive options on the all inclusive menu.

United StatesThe food at the restaurant were average. Breakfast was good but lunch and dinner left much to be desired. The “ catch of the day” was not fresh fish. The tuna served was a frozen piece of fish similar to what you can buy at BJs wholesale. I think they can do better for the all inclusive price paid.
amazing sea view, nice balcony, plenty of storage, good water pressure, plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas and seating in bar area, waiter service at the beach, nice open air restaurant, great Tuesday night entertainment, nice beach, overall a nice, relaxing vibe. Although we didn’t take advantage, many excursions are available to book. great outdoor massage available. the Antiguan yogurt: delicious!
