Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. India- Apartments are dated, with old or sometimes broken furniture and fittings. - Kitchen appliances were not working on arrival and had to be replaced from other units. - Breakfast area is too small, leading to long queues even in off-season. - In-room dining was outsourced to a 3rd-party and even simple requests (like wine glasses) could not be fulfilled. - No anti-skid mats for bathtubs, which is a safety issue, especially with kids. - Staff (other than Anand) were professional but did not create the impression of wanting to exceed expectations.
It's a basic 4 star hotel and good to great value for money depending on season. It has great pool and gym. There is also a basic kids play area. The location is great for connectivity right by Sheikh Zayed Road and the apartment side entry is probably less than 20 meters from the Dubai Internet City metro station entry. The bell-boy Anand went above and beyond in all interactions. The rest of the staff while professional didn't give the impression that they truly wanted to exceed expectations. This has been my experience at many other accor hotels as well unfortunately and may be a company culture thing. Their in-room dining is outsourced it appears and even the simplest requests like getting a couple of wine glasses delivered to the room appeared to be an impossible task. Similarly an anti-skid mat for the bathtubs could not be provided by room service upon request which is a basic safety requirements specially if there is no shower cubicle and kids are staying. The breakfast area is small and had long queues even during the off-season. The apartments are dated and the furniture fittings are old and sometimes broken. The kitchen is quite small and most appliances were not working upon arrival and had to be replaced by the staff who fetched them from other apartments. Overall the stay was enjoyable and the kids loved it. This is probably the best apartment deal near Shiekh Zayed Road with such proximity to a metro station that too by a legit international brand. Just don't expect to be pampered or overwhelmed by the service.

KuwaitThe lifts can take some time to arrive especially in the rush hours need more and very fast lifts.
I stayed in the Prestigious 2 bedroom Skyline view suite, it was very comfortable , large and clean.The hotel had it's own parking which was very convenient for us to park. Breakfast was very nice but try to come early. We stayed at the 39th floor with magnificent views on Sheikh Zayed road. My gratitude goes to the wonderfull helping duty manager Kristel who was always kind and helpfu, also my thanks goes to Joyce,Silvia and the kind waiter Rabin they were all great and welcoming and most of the other staff were welcoming. All the thanks to the beautiful stay at the Mercure Dubai barsha heights hotel. Will come again in the future. Thankyou.
