HungaryI booked the Deluxe queen room offered on booking.com. It is 35 m2, I was given a 12 m2 hole. The booking page listed a private kitchen and did not list a shared bathroom. Staff: when I complained I was told to go elsewhere. I received no response to my refund request. Amenities: The room had a chair with a broken leg, which was not replaced after 5 days and repeated requests. The wardrobe was disgusting. Cleanliness: the kitchen was unusable, the shared bathroom had traces of mould. Comfort: a single pane of tinted glass separated the room next door, all activity could be heard. Value for money: if I had got what I rented, it would not have been cheap. But it was really bad like this. Location: As I came for my work, it was not the best for me. The promised parking around the house was not available. Only residents can park in the area, with the exception of a few parking spaces. If you arrived in the afternoon, it was very difficult to find a parking place, it took a long time to find a parking place for a long distance. Looking around the site I saw that there was 1 of the advertised rooms and 7 small rooms. Hearing the dissatisfaction of others there, everyone booking the Deluxe Queen room but no one got that one. Air conditioning, if there was one, could not be controlled. It was generally warm.

New ZealandDefinitely don't stay there if you have a car because you probably won't get overnight parking. So where do you park then? The building has zero signage showing that there is a hostel. You have no clue where you're actually staying. I've stayed in lots of crappy places over the decades, well, this might be the worst especially as it was way over priced for what the quality was. No toilet paper. Water dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom. Beer to unclean. Sometime during the night the plugs/switches turned off. The lift didn't work in the morning when I left. Booking. Com need to look at this place.
Air Con. Location was good but the area is scruffy.
