Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. United KingdomThe wifi was slow. The AC wasnt working in the room or the lift in our building, in 45 degree heat this was uncomfortable. The breakfast drinks service was slow, sometimes our drinks would arrive after we had finished eating and often the drinks would be wrong or they forgot one. Our two bed suite is in need of refurb it was tired looking - nothing like the rooms in the pictures
The staff and the food in the restaurants were fantastic. The pool bar staff were great. The service at the sun bed was attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The free tickets to Atllantis water park is a nice touch. The Guest services were great

We’ve stayed in several top-rated hotels in Dubai over the years, but nothing compares to the experience we had at Rixos The Palm. From the moment we arrived until the moment we (reluctantly) checked out, the service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality were absolutely outstanding. The food deserves special mention: an exceptional variety, freshness, and quality across all restaurants. The buffet was consistently rich and beautifully presented, offering something for everyone at every meal. The sushi evenings were a true culinary delight – a beautifully laid-out sushi bar with a wide and generous selection that felt more like a specialty restaurant than a hotel offering. The restaurants and bars are of a remarkably high standard, not only in food quality but also in service – professional, fast, attentive, and always with a smile. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a drink by the pool – we felt genuinely cared for. What truly sets Rixos apart is the service. We’ve experienced great hotels, but the level of care, responsiveness, and warmth from the staff here was unmatched. From the front desk to the WhatsApp personal assistant, every request was handled quickly and kindly. The entire staff truly goes above and beyond to ensure a flawless stay. Our room was kept immaculately clean, with fresh flowers and thoughtful touches every day. The housekeeping team was meticulous, and their attention to detail made us feel special. One of the highlights was how the hotel made our 6-year-old daughter’s birthday unforgettable – surprising her with not one, but five different birthday cakes throughout our stay in the most heartwarming and joyful moments. It’s that kind of thoughtful gesture that makes Rixos more than just a hotel – it becomes a cherished memory.

Excellent service. The staff was very attentive and responsive. The chief at the restaurant was cooking fries for our kid as she requested fries only and didn’t except anything else. The girl at the reception (unfortunately don’t remember her name) upgraded our room which was very nice.

United KingdomNot being aware that we had to book any restaurants in advance as we only booked the hotel on the day. We had to have the buffet both days despite restaurants looking empty. Pool attendants were friendly but service was bad on the swim up bar as not enough staff.
Restaurant was family friendly with brilliant child meal options, particularly for babies with pouches available. Soft play inside the Buffet was a nice touch to allow you to eat your food whilst your child played. Lots of Pools with a swim up bar, kids club pool and inside softplay which was great for the hot parts of the day.

United KingdomThis is purely our fault, more research needed!. We felt out on a limb with nothing to do around us that didn’t involve the hotel. Luckily we did want to lie in the sun for a week and not move too much so it worked, but if you like to wander about there’s nothing there, well not that we found. The only gripe about the room - no full length mirror. Why do so many hotels not have these? I dont want to use a mirror in the hallway or the lift!
Everything was 100%. All food and drink was of a very high standard, even the buffet was fab, sushi every night (a dream for me!) Buffets can be a disaster on an all inclusive but not here. Didn’t have a problem getting into the bookable restaurants, might be worth seeing if you can book these before you arrive if you want certain times. Our favourite was Bodrum, for lunch and dinner! Service was exceptional, every single staff member always had a smile on their face and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Lots of activities going on during the day if you wanted to join in. The main pool was predominantly families and was very busy. We stayed away (!) and went to the beach which was very quiet. Loads of sun-beds, never had a problem getting one, this might have been an issue around the main pool as so many people, but didn’t affect us. I used the lap pool most mornings and was often the only person in there. It’s 42m long. The gym was great, very well equipped, quite small for the size of the hotel though.

United KingdomIt is difficult to get reservations in the restaurants even though they didn’t appear full. You can only use the buffet if you are there for fewer than four nights. I think restaurants should be available to everyone who has paid to stay there
The restaurants and bars were amazing. The buffet is extensive. I loved the pool area with the fruit and ice cream booths. Our room was a wellness room with jacuzzis and an amazing patio which we spent most of our daytime in. The gym is state of the art. The staff friendly and everything is new and clean.
