Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Philippinesthe kitchen, dont know if you are allowed to prepare something there or not. It's kinda messy. the beddings, it looks like infested, im having some bugs bitten spots or rashes every night, especially on my legs and buttocks.. a/c not good.. wifi connection sometimes so slow. the flat is more likely a residential than a transient hostel type. they should at least try to separate something for the guest to use.. Well, you get what you paid for.
the location is near my past workplace. it's easy to visit my former workmates and catch up with them. Bus station is like 8 minutes walk. The airport bus is just at the back. There are lots of grocers and eats to find nearby.

NetherlandsThe place was very very cold. Smoking is allowed in the kitchen, which I found disgusting. Toilet paper is not routinely provided. During a two-day stay there was none. The place could be cleaner espeically the kitchen and the bathrooms.
The hostel is in an apartment in a relatively new modern building. It means it is light and the facilities such as AC, hot shower and WiFi worked well. It was easy to book, but the address proved difficult to find. Ask for a more detailed location description through the booking assistant, as the address on booking is just the name of a street. There is no sign. There is a small kitchen with a fridge and a stove where it is possible to cook.
