How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewEverything was wonderful. The room was clean and perfectly suitable, and the hotel’s location is convenient, close to almost everything in the center of Dubai. The staff are kind and helpful with everything you may need, especially the receptionist named Zaid, who was extremely polite and pleasant. Even the security staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Verified reviewThe hotel was so clean when I arrived. Everything was in here except slippers, toothbrush and laundry rack but I asked for a rack and they happily sent one. The furniture chairs got better in terms of texture, it now has better cushions too compared to last time I was here last year. The lift has this notice for pest control which happened days ago. That's good as I always remember practicing that even before. I loved that pair of huge mirrors in the closets. Smart TV is still there. Carpeted room. Enough space for the waiting area. The pool is under renovation as of today. There is a small gym with dumbbells and benches for lifting and a few machines. Close to the metro, walking is not that long. Close to 24 hrs shops, restaurants and pharmacies. There is even a tiny grocery store on the ground floor. A noodle restaurant along the road. Paid parking just outside. Most of all, the staff. They are smiling and greet you and were helpful. They would remember you if you stayed there before as well. Strong wifi, good enough for my needs and are consistent. The room even has a balcony, and it's a studio. I will definitely come back. It's good for families and solo travelers.
Moving tables though. This room I got now takes 5min to heat up but my shower long wasn't having this issue. Old pans. Wished they're stainless. If you're staying longer, you might want to get one with you. No knives. It's cheap anyway if you get one. Maybe it's for safety concerns or so. If you're cooking light, hot plate is enough. Tight space in the kitchen though for a studio room. But enough for light movements and cooking. A little too warm, the lighting. There is no option to make it a little brighter but good thing there is a balcony so it's a problem at daytime. The room is big enough but those huge pieces of furniture make it a little smaller than it really is. There is a slight shaking on the table.

Verified reviewIt was the worst experience ever. We coudnt sleep at the first night because of the bed bugs, and they moved us to another room, but it was full of COCKROACHES and bed bugs. It was a nightmare. They sprayed everything in the third night, but it was already too late. What made it even worse, they didnt feel sorry for ruining our stay. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!

Verified reviewGood location in Barsha Heights/Tecom, clean rooms, balcony, easy approach. Highly recommended for work or family vacation stays.
The security is overly excessive. Being in Dubai, I don't think this level of scrutiny is needed. For e.g. if you invite a friend, you have to go through a check from security, the Careem/Noon riders are not allowed to deliver to the rooms so you have to come down every time you order, etc. The hotel needs to tone down the Security a bit, there are cameras everywhere to monitor everything so they should allow the guests to live without limitations.

Verified reviewMy family and I had a great experience during our stay at the hotel. We really liked the 2BHK apartment — the living room was spacious, and the bedrooms and kitchen were well-arranged and comfortable. The overall setup was excellent. The staff at the cafeteria/restaurant were very accommodating. I’d like to especially mention the Filipina staff member on duty during the morning shift of June 7th. She was friendly and helpful, even informing us that we could request scrambled eggs. The scrambled eggs were prepared by an Indian staff member, who was also very kind and attentive. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide towels in the pool/recreation area. It would help prevent wet floors when guests return to their rooms. Additionally, there was no lifeguard on duty that day, which is something the management may want to address for guest safety. Nevertheless, it was an overall great experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Verified reviewIt’s at a very good location and has good rooms. This was my 2nd stay at this hotel.
The only thing that annoyed me this time was that there were bugs in the room. This was the first time i experienced this.
