The entire experience was truly special — from the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings to the warm hospitality we received. Staying here was such a wonderful experience!! Everything was as described or even better: very nice and comfortable tent, clean toilets, amazing food (and so much variety and quantity that it's hard to try it all!) and outstanding service from everyone at the camp (Riad and Marwan were in charge of our stay and always took care that everything went well, but really everyone was so professional and friendly that it was a pleasure!). The activities that are included were great too (we didn't book any extras as we just wanted to enjoy the programme without rushing), and we liked that you get plenty of free time to do them and to enjoy the camp as you wish and at your pace. Another plus for us was the fact that the pick up point is easily reachable with public transport (bus number 16, around one hour ride to connect to the metro in Dubai), so if you're not in a hurry you don't need to take a taxi or have a car. It's just important to know that the place is indeed "touristy" and, due to the location close to Dubai and its airport, not really isolated in the desert, but instead of that you get a very well organised, safe and professional stay, which in our case even exceeded our expectations. All in all, we can absolutely recommend this experience, especially staying overnight (which we found much nicer than only spending a few hours)! It was definitely a highlight of our stay in the UAE and we really hope we can repeat it!! 😊

Night shows were a little bit... expected, so not that much moving. A heater inside the room would have been helpful during the night(quite cold). Hot water for the shower is required. Bad timing for me, there were lots of sites under construction around the camping.

Staff was adorable. Always kind always available. Especially Dhruba, Allmas and people cleaning the bathroom were admirable.

The distance

Al Khayma Elite Glamping offers a perfect blend of a camping experience with full hotel-like service. The bed was very comfortable, with warm blankets and soft pillows, and the tent was spotlessly clean. Although the bathroom was outside the tent, it was well-constructed and kept very clean, so it wasn’t an issue at all. The food service was excellent, and we were very impressed with the quality. However, do note that the nights and mornings were very cold, so be prepared! One thing to consider is that the adventure activities, like the Red Dune Safari, dune bashing, and sandboarding, were about 1.5 hours away from the camp. While everything was well-organized, the travel time back and forth took quite a bit of time. Next time, I’d ask for more detailed information beforehand to better plan the activities. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with minor adjustments needed for activity planning. Highly recommended for those looking for a luxurious desert experience!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. The grounds were so clean and comfortable. The men that were looking after us were so polite and helpful, we especially enjoyed Marwans company, he went above and beyond to show us the gorgeous horses this morning and was constantly letting us know that he was at our disposal for anything we wanted or needed. The food was amazing and we were so disappointed we couldn’t finish every mouthful. The esky in our room full of iced water and soft drinks was extremely useful and something we were extremely grateful for. The amenities were so clean and well maintained, it made it a pleasure to shower there. We will definitely be returning next year to see the wonderful new area the are building for the horse shows. Thankyou so much for providing a wonderful camp in the desert where magnificent memories are made. We loved it and I forgot to mention that we both had an amazing full nights sleep in the most glorious tent imaginable. Thankyou

Amazing glamping! Real gem 💎 When I booked it via booking com I didn’t know that I book “𝐕𝐢𝐩 option”. Which included special treatment, skip the lines for activities, personal assistant 24/7, separated table for dinning, local clothes - to wear it there to dive into Bedouin culture for 100%, shisha for free, free soft drink and luxury tend with AC ❤️ Oh, and everyone from the crew was super nice and helpful ❤️ literally EVERYONE So we absolutely LOVED it! My folks’ve been 1st time on that kind of camp, so for them it was “wow”! I’ve been 3rd time, but this camp if real winner! It’s so much better than other crowded touristic camps…. I highly recommend to book overnight stay on that glamping…. You’ll also watch starts through telescope at night and have sunset ride in camels then! ❤️❤️❤️

Highly recommended as it was the best experience of our trip! The service was amazing and very professional! Everybody was so kind. The food was perfect! Very clean tents and bathroom! The star gazing was exceptional! The early camel riding watching the sun rise was really top notch! It is definitely a must to stay overnight at the camp! They arranged for us a private dune bashing and sand boarding in the morning after our stay which was the best! Special thanks to our driver Mr Moosa.

The camp is just above the final approach route that most planes take before landing at DXB airport so it could be quite nosy at times.

The staff were really friendly and took care of us really well. Our flight was delayed but our chauffeur waited at the arrival and picked us up. The place was great and the food was just too good. From the welcome tea, coffee, snacks to the grand dinner everything was well organised. There were other customers who came for the show and dinner so we were skipped the camel ride at night but took it in the morning. All the entertainments like Henna, Shisha, Tanoura, Khaleeji Dance & Fire show will keep you occupied all day. The morning breakfast was a delight. Overall a great experience!
