How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewGreat location, clean and more spacious than the pictures appear. Good amenities and well stocked. Close to the slopes and restaurants. Also includes a ski locker.
The location of the building is not obvious, so requires some searching. Would be difficult if arriving late at night. WiFi is pretty terrible, barely worked especially as the apartment sleeps six people. It's located on the 6th floor but the lift only goes up to the 5th, so no disabled access. Received mixed-messages about needing to clean the flat (including mopping the floor), but the instructions in the flat don't say to do so. Beds were comfy but pillows were very thin and uncomfortable.

Verified reviewThe location is fantastic. Everything is within yards (ski hire, supermarket, ski lifts, restaurants). The apartment is spacious, and has two showers which is a major bonus. Beds are OK (too soft, but OK). Nice views of the slopes and lifts opposite in the morning when you wake up and have breakfast. When you finally got through to the helpful people who were fielding enquiries they were nice to deal with, and went out of their way (we got a 30m extension on check out, to 11.30, which was really helpful, to give one example). Good fridge, functional dishwasher, hob, stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, and washing machine. Showers worked well, plenty of hot water. Good sized table for four, a squeeze for six. Pretty reasonable heating, but switch it on as soon as you arrive. Lots of crockery and cutlery and glassware. Three ways of making coffee (stove-top espresso, small filter machine, Nespresso)!
We were originally given the wrong instructions to find the place, for a building miles away. After sorting that out, it was not clear when we would get check-in details or how to pay for deposit/tax. The description of how to find the place was very unclear indeed. The GPS coordinates were not exactly where the building was, the photo of the building is not _the_ building etc. Directions: you're up a hill from a roundabout, about 400 yards along the street. There is a tall sandy-coloured gable end, on the left-hand side. On the right, at this point, there are only ski buildings/lifts -- you can see the slopes. There is a short left turn here, forming a fork with the road (Avenguida de Encamps). A cab could pull up and drop off in the left branch. On the gable end there is a huge advert, advising you that McDonald's is 500 m behind you. Stop in front of that. Turn round to your left: there is a restaurant with pink signage called Terrasse Lucien. (This is yards away from the gable end.) Go to the left of the restaurant, into a walkway next to another low building a notch down the hill. DO NOT walk on the steel ramp -- it has ice half way up, you could have a very bad slip. Go up two low rickety steel steps instead. (Again only ten yards or so.) You are now on a concrete covered walkway, running in front of the buildings, left and right. The restaurants have extensions out on the street, so it's like a tunnel for much of its length. Immediately ahead of you is a glassed-in entrance way, with lots of mail boxes inside and a picture of a chamois on the wall. At the back of the hall is a metal-doored lift. Take it up to the 5th floor; walk three short flights to the 6th. The flat door and lockbox for keys are slightly to the left. Kitchen equipment is worn and missing items. Damp smell in the master bedroom/bathroom: leave the bathroom light on all the time/open skylight. Cracked skylight in kitchen/living room.

Verified reviewThe property had nice skylight windows and the heating worked well and efficiently. There were plenty of blankets and towels.
As soon as we got there and sat down the couch broke and we are not heavy people. We contacted the property about it and they said sorry they would deal with it but never came. The wifi did not work all week and there were some small leakages from the water boiler in the kitchen and the pipes in the bathroom. The toilet in the main bathroom was hard to flush even though we didn’t put toilet paper in it. The nespresso coffee machine doesn’t work. The elevator stopped working for a day and the apartment is on the very top floor. Either way the elevator only goes to the 5th floor and the apartment is on the 6th floor. There weren’t enough proper cooking appliances like a spatula for example. It cost 2 200€ including the extra head tax for only 7 nights so with all the issues it was not good value for money. The beds were hard and not very comfortable. Overall the apartment is nice and has enough bathrooms and beds for a small group. The location is great as it’s directly in front of the ski hill. Lots of restaurants around. It’s just the maintenance and upkeep that needs improvement, otherwise it should not be so expensive.
