How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe staff were excellent - really friendy, kind and welcoming. Everyone had a warm smile and I quickly felt at home. The location is also great, being situated very close to the pistes.
My room - the garden suite - was simply too hot. I think this was due to the fact that the hotel's spa is situated directly above the garden suite. And by directly above, I mean on the floor above the garden suite. The spa's balcony area is directly above the lounge area of the suite. I came to Andorra to escape the summer heat and it's very uncomfortable having such a hot room that needed 4 fans on permanently and the windows open all the time. Maybe that might be nice in winter, but in summer it's really not. The room also smelled of bleach/chlorine, which I assume was from the spa above. The layout of the suite itself is ugly and doesn't really work, but that was the least of my concerns. Finally, the garden needs some serious attention. During the renovation work that was taking place during my stay, it was, quite literally, a building site, with scaffolding, planks and cement mixers in view. I get that, and can live with it, but the rest of the garden was just weeds and clearly hadn't had any attention all summer. There were some nasty nettles near the slope to the suite's patio windows and they were vicious when you caught them! There was also some water ingress during a period of heavy rain, which softened the plaster board above the patio doors, leading the curtain and net rails to come out of the ceiling. All in all, not a nice room room and I definitely would not stay in that room again.

Verified reviewThis is our second stay at the Llorp Gris. The hotel is in a great position, right next to the ski lift and adjacent to a very good ski equipment hire shop. It could not be more convenient. The staff team is excellent, friendly and professional. The hotel rooms are a little dated but we do not mind that because it is a very dog friendly establishment (we had three dogs with us). It is a so wonderful to be able to stay in a lovely hotel near the slopes with our pets in a genuinely dog-friendly hotel. We were in the garden room which can get very hot during the night but is spacious and well-equipped. We enjoyed the inclusive breakfast and ate dinner twice in the hotel - it was very good value. The pool area has been upgraded since our last visit and is now a swanky spa. There is now an entry fee of 23 Euros for a 2 hour visit. Although the facilities are lovely, we did not think this was good value. Overall we really like the Llorp Gris. It is family-run, authentic and such a refreshing change from the over-designed generic chains that predominate most tourist resorts. We'd certainly like to go back!
The spa area is lovely, but not worth the 23 Euros entry fee. The jacuzzi and sauna are a bit on the cool-side and there are no loungers. Children are allowed in the spa area which was not a problem for us but means that the ambience is more like a swimming pool than a spa. Personally I would add a small fee to each visitor and allow free entry to the pool/sauna but charge for treatments.

Verified reviewThe hotel was easy to find and is located in a small development near Soldeu which has a cable car but it only operates in winter. There is no evening dining room but there are plenty of reasonable restaurants nearby. Parking close to the hotel is limited but there is a huge free public car park very close by and underground parking in the hotel at an extra cost. The breakfast was good and the splendid pool/sauna was a very welcome bonus.
It was raining and parking close to the hotel was a bit difficult.
Hello Michael, Thank you for your comment and we are very pleased you enjoyed your stay. We do have a restaurant open for evening diner. We are sorry it wasn't clear and didn't provide the correct information. Hope to welcome you again in your next trip in Andorra, Best regards.

Verified reviewAbsolutely perfect location right next to ski lift. Big indoor swimming pool and proper sauna for relaxing after ski day. Parking facilities were perfect as El Tarter is usually packed and you don't find parking space.

Verified reviewThe location is simply fabulous and the hotel cannot be beaten on convenience and price. All staff were friendly and helpful without exception. We were on a bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast was always plentiful and high quality. We ate supper in the restaurant one night. It was excellent and very good value. The bar area is informal and welcoming. The linked ski hire shop is fantastic. The pool and leisure facilities are a lovely add on. One of our party needed to work for a day during our stay. The staff could not have been more helpful and a private conference room was made available. We travelled with two dogs and when this hotel says 'dog friendly' it really is. Compared to similar hotels in the French Alps the Llop Gris is a refreshing change and superb value. We would not hesitate to return.
The wifi in the room was weak on occasion, but this did not really bother us (it worked well in public areas). The pool and hot tub could have been ever-so-slightly warmer but again, this did not really spoil our stay. There was nothing we didn't like. It was a brilliant holiday.

Verified reviewWe loved the staff, everybody was absolutely excellent and super nice, the location was unbeatable and all the facilities that the hotel has to offer. The pool, the massages, the sauna, the billiards, the fondues and raclettes at the restaurant…
The rooms are tiny, the toilet is in a little closet separate and in the complete opposite area of the bedroom from the rest of the bathroom… the heat cannot be controlled individually and both the rooms as well as the hotel are very old and run down… could benefit greatly from a renovation and redistribution of the bedrooms… but we didn’t mind much as we only spent enough time in the bedrooms to just sleep. So will definitely be back!!
